Im a repair tech, and i just replaced the dc jack on a kindle fire model no. D01400
upon fully charging it, it continuously goes into a boot loop
it will sometimes goto the media library page and then reboot, but mostly it hits the lockscreen and resets itself.
the dc install was flawless, and ive done it several times before never had an issue, but the batteries on those were not fully discharged
this thing was dead, like sitting in a closet for 6 months dead
also the touchscreen seems to be nonresponsive for the few seconds i can use it but i think that is do to the system locking up
already tried hard reset, that didnt fix the problem, any ideas?

thanks in advance

Could try reflashing firmware. Or wiping data with twrp
Will need to flash twrp 2.2.2.1 to flash firmware.
Kindle fire utility will install latest tarp, then could try wiping data, or install older 2.2.2.1 tarp and flash stock.
Links in my list.
Or install cm11 and see if that will boot.
