Notification power toggle - Mobiledata

i just notice that it takes time to turn it on/off..but it does eventually ^^,

Running latest build (0427), if I keep Wifi toggle on, then the Mobiledata toggle icon will not change state appropriately (e.g. disabled under Settings, but icon is still active). Only when Wifi toggle is off, it works as expected. Can anyone else confirm this behavior?

1. Disable both Wifi and Mobiledata toggle
2. Enable Mobiledata (OK)
3. Enable Wifi (OK), device will now connect to wifi instead
4. Try to disable Mobiledata (Failed). Icon stays highlighted
5. Check Mobile Data status under Settings. It's already disabled

Font changer

Those method that can be searched on this thread don't work for other language. It only changed English font but not Korean, Japanese, or so.... Any workaround?

I found something else which has been draining the battery,

It gives large amount of wakeups for com.android.email

"There is option Under options "DOWNLOAD ATTACHMENTS:auto-download attachments to recent messages via wifi" in email accounts .
When this is checked, system gets wakeups aprox. 4 times per minute even if the wifi conection is disabled. I would say this is a bug."

On my testing it seems to have something to do with the WIFI always on, Only on when on Charger and off during sleep.

The only solution is to turn off the setting in the emails.

EDIT: I can't tell 100% if it actually lowered the wakeups....needs more testing.

minor bugs noticed

Hello guys,

I've noticed 2 minor bugs with CM9 roms.

When on a phone call, it is not possible to reduce/increase the volume when the screen is off (for example when the phone is on ur ear and u try to reduce or increase in-call volume)
to change, i have to remove it from my ears wait for screen to turn on again then change the volume.

another bug ive noticed (which might not be a bug), but data stops when i am on a call, when i was on GB, during a call I was able to also use data, but now data disconnects untill the call is over. is it possible changing the Baseband will fix this? im on XXLPQ

Hi guys,

Ive had an issue where suddenly the charging icon comes on in the task bar at the top, even though phone not plugged in to charge etc....

Have to reboot to get rid.....or plug in power sometimes clears it..

Installed Battery indicator app today and it reported "overvoltage" when this was occuring.

Have siyah kernel installed so reset profile to default and reset extweaks profile..

any ideas???

This sounds awkward to say, but this morning my phone couldn't wake up from sleep.
So like, i switched off airplane mode, switched on wifi, putted it on my desk, went to the bathroom, then when i came back it couldn't "wake" and had to long press power button to reboot it, there's poor wifi reception in my bedroom so probably that killed it while trying to go in sleep mode.
Anyway i did a logcat but can't really see any error related to this.

http://www.mediafire.com/?mz4q0sl87z99sd7

PS: to get a logcat i type'd "logcat -v time > /sdcard/logcat.txt", i don't know if i have to filter it somehow with additional variables
PPS: i'm running "vanilla" CM9 without mods or modded kernels with LPS radio and gb bootloader

I've always had GTalk frozen & never had any probs with it (I don't recommend outright uninstalling/removing/deleting any system apps tho). One thing you will need GTalk for even if you don't actually use it is if you push apps from Google Play Via PC to your phone. If you install/buy apps from the Play Store directly from your phone (like me) tho, this won't be an issue. This thread is a good reference for starters so far as apps 'safe to remove/freeze' go.

Cheers thanks for that. I have basically all of that done at the moment. I have notices GTalk is running, is freezing it enough to stop it running all the time?

Also which other apps to you freeze that are usually not needed on the phone?

Which app would you recommend to under clock cpu to 1000mhz?

Thanks.

Camera

Hi, i have the latest build and i installed the lgcamera app.
But, it doesn't work on video recording mode, keeps crashing.
There comes these weird green lines top of the display and the phone crashes very badly that i have to pull out the battery out.
I installed the app, because i want better video quality like, higher bitrate and better sound quality.

I've check TB to see if a Sound Recorder is installed by default and it is, but why isn't it showing in the app drawer?

This might be the cure for my WiFi drain issue. I disabled the option in Gmail settings and enabled WiFi again. Will report if it helped after some more testing.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    - Choose cm-9-XXXXXXXX-ODIN-galaxys2.tar.md5 as PDA
    - Boot your phone into download mode
    - Connect your device via usb to your computer
    - Wait till Odin has fully recognized your phone
    - Hit the start button and wait till the flash process is finished

It's done when it's done. Don't expect a release withing the next days. If it takes weeks, then it takes weeks.

I'll focus on I9100 development because it's the device with the most users.
