It is awesome.. but the main verdict of it is while songs are being played the battery gets drained in 2.3 official gingerbread ..

try using other equaliser they work fine too :|i want dsp to work along with beats
please tell me exact procedure to flash beat audio.....and how do i know that after flash zip that it is successfully flashed ?

the zip only does something when you mount /system before flashing

could you please tell me that why we have to mount /system to this zip file ? and what happened when we only jus flash it without mount /system
after flashed from where i can find beat audio ? or it will for with dsp or i have to uninstall it ?
EDIT : i m using amon ra recovery so after select mount /system it give me 4 option which is
- unmount /system
-unmouint /data
-mount /data
-mount sd-ext
-mount /sdcard
now what should i do ?

there is no symbol. its up to you to judge. Before flash, use root explorer and delete dsp manager from system/app . dont keep asking people, instead try it out.

flashing now.......it mean it is not working with dsp
then what about equalizer ?

18Guys i found this thread http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1525226 that successfully ported Beats Audio! Thus greatly improve audio on our beloved O1!
I just made flashable ZIP especially made for our O1, to avoid flashing error, sadly this is for Gingerbread Roms only. (cm7 to be exact)

thanks guys!3wtf are you all people talking about...the files wasn't installed in my phone because the updater-script doesn't mount the System Partition!
the updater-script doesn't have this line
the updater-script only has these lines
sooo it unmounts without even mounting...you people...must have some magic in your ears..I felt no difference tbh2
Wipe cache and dalvik
Mount /system, flash the zip from the original thread and deinstall dsp
