@DerTeufell : any plans in adding mtp ?

Sent from my Nexus S using xda app-developers app

I'll take a look at bedalus implementation of it. Does it require a reboot?
For my device I have implemented a switch for it to recovery (there is no separate recovery like the nexus s uses).

It does not require a reboot. (Slim Bean + matr1x)
As soon as you tap the MTP mode, it switches to MTP instantly.

If the ROM has the mtp mode selection under storage settings, it does not require reboot. If you are using usb switcher from play store or switching using terminal commands, it will need reboot for the change to take effect.

Hi, i tried today your kernel with devil kernel manager (before a had bedalus marmite kernel 7.3.1 cm and flashed it with wipe of dalvik cache)and have some questions:
1-Cant Change RAM SETTINGS after reboot it revert to stock all the time
2-same with Swap/zRAM. Always after reboot is disabled
3-cant find BLD

You could try it. As far as I know, only initramfs changed and it should work. But I can't guarantee for it.

Nope, doesn't boot, stays stuck at the boot animation forever. So sad. :(

Do you believe it would be possible to make it work with 4.1? I know it's a stretch to ask to spend time on it since 4.2 is the latest thing, but there's really a performance and smoothness drop between google approved 4.1 and shoddy 4.2 hacks.

The kernel is running great at 1200. I want to try live OC. What is the maximum allowed limit for live oc? I know DerTeufel1980 had restricted it to certain %. Is any one using live oc?

I think the limit is above what a phone can handle. With raising voltages I can run 117%.
You should try yourself. Just hit, not to load values at boot. This can save you some trouble, until you got it stable

This kernel is based off cm kernel sources for jellybean 4.2.x

Features (this list might not be complete):

    - linux 3.0.62
    - selective live_oc (tweaked for maximum performance and stability)
    - touchwake
    - bln v9
    - bld
    - deep idle
    - properly fixed minimum freq 100 mhz (or live_oc freq.) while gpu not active
    - Zram
    - ported zram for android (from samsung source of S3)
    - Zcache
    - Cleancache
    - Frontswap
    - lowmemorykiller update
    - latest tweaks to row io scheduler
    - interactive governor from linux 3.4
    - "smoot_ui" for most of the governors (this pushes cpu speed to max, when touching the screen)
    - three different profiles for most of the cpu governors (presets for tunables)
    - vibration control for hardware keys
    - ...

please try, if this kernel/deviltools combination fixes the low vibration intensity.

i have added an additional sysfs to the kernel, by default, the old one is used (which is also used by crespo parts).

if you want to use deviltools instead, you can activate the other sysfs in there (crespo parts then can't control vibration anymore)

Most is already included since long time. I'll add the other things when I find enough time to update (most probably I'll switch to zswap instead of zram then)

this one is coming with new modified liblights binary for bln support, frontbuffer draw delay (please try setting it with trickster mod) and support for turning off touchkey backlight from rom settings. please report back
