Stupid/silly question, but I want to make custom notification sounds for my M8. Is there a way to do so considering I don't have access to the /system folder?

On your sdcard or built in memory you can do this...

-make the following folders
- Sdcard/Media/Audio/Alarms
- Sdcard/Media/Audio/Notifications
- Sdcard/Media/Audio/Ringtones

And just add your mp3 files in there and they will show up in the system settings

*you may need to do a reboot before they show up

Already had the folder and dropped a file in, works like a charm!
