Blizard, I think it worked for me? I had set in ADW EX that when I press home key, it opens app drawer. And it opened, so it works for me?
i can't use the normal home button to return to the home.

I couldn't understand why my battery drained so much over night while holding well during the day, especially as I have 0 apps installed and I'm running the stock config (I'm just testing roms out in prevision of my Magic's sell).
Yup, I definitely confirm that putting the phone in airplane mode will freeze it. This morning I wasn't even able to charge it until I pulled out the battery...

1-Phone will freeze in airplane mode. Put battery out is best way!
2-I always clear system before flash rom. Could you test this
- boot to bootloader
- connect to PC
- fastboot erase system -w
- boot to recovery
- flash rom
- boot phone
- reboot recovery and flash gapp

Ok, I've tried searching, reading and I just can't figure this out. I broke my HD2 which I had running CM7, and loved it...so for the time being I have to use this MyTouch 3g that we had laying around, but it's stock froyo.
My main issue is that the security is ON. I just need to flash an engineering spl so that I can use fastboot commander but everytime I try it doesnt work. Any help?? The easiest way to flash is through custom recovery but I cant get that to flash because the security is ON. It's just been a cluster, any help is appreciated.

Oct 17 rom is great. But battery life is too small for me

32I Was Helping another member get a rom working for the 6.35 radio sapphire and thought I'd look into making cm7 run better on our new radio magics, I've had it compiling for a long time now but it was slow and laggy and several things were broken. So I concentrated on DietGingerbread.
Well I succeeded this weekend at making it run ok and everything is working as it does on any other cm7 phone install.
It has my 710 kernel with 245/528 as default. (updated kernel, added 352000 to cpu freq table)
You must have 1.76.2007 spl
You should have 6.35.16.19 radio

Latest cm7 source, a few changes, unlock bubbles are nice
New kernel with many changes, it has great battery life again, only 3% drop overnight now, 40 hours 35 minutes on battery and I have 18% left still, no problems over a weeks use.
Gapps package has the new market now, the old one auto updated to the new one every time for me anyways
Everything is on Andriodspin now, nice fast servers

Off animation is not on by default anymore, you can turn it on in settings (it's still buggy for me anyways, I need to rewrite the code so it isn't using gles2.0)

Fast enough now that I don't even overclock at all now

Updated to latest cm/aosp sources, new kernel with updated usb and audio, fastest version yet. Also 4.0.0.2 recovery is working great so far.

Sorry about the wait, I had real life work to do, also several things quit working with the cm7.1.0, 2.3.4 update, it's all good now I believe and seems much faster, This is on a clean install without custom mtd that I tested.

You must wipe all for this release, I used google to save settings and apps before wiping and then used it to restore everything, works now on mtd also.
If you use seo's 2.0 recovery (as I do) you have to use fastboot to erase system, as the recovery does not. (I'm looking in to fixing it)

I've had koush's recovery compiling with my rom since the beginning , it works great, I have posted several versions in the OP of this thread, they all work.

I'm also ready to update the OP with the latest rom, all the requests since the 13th are done, led notification settings are back, in call ui is off by default and can be enabled in settings, I also changed the power profile to match the new kernel better and a new updated kernel with less jumps in frequency.
CM has slowed a bit in updates so I was able to concentrate on my fixes. Even I am happy with it now, and I'm my worse critic, I'm an anal mofo lol.
Edit: I'm going to upload, then download and md5 and then install to make sure no more corruption of files is happening on upload3New build is up, new kernel is included, no wipe is needed. I also changed the gapps link to the latest from CM.
