I charged my phone to 100% and got the fully charged notification and as soon as I unplug it it drops to 98%. I did a battery calibration and then it dropped 1% as soon as it was unplugged. Anyone else have this same problem?

Ok got the new SGSII I9100 2.XXX (if someone wonts exact version tell me Ill loook up what I had posted prior)
rooted via bat file
Installed CWM 4.0.0.2
BACKED UP! (this saved my a$$!!)

Wiped and installed via CWM WanamLite ICS V9.0 Final LPH Android 4.0.3 Blue ICS Themed

All good so far! ;)

Android is the toy I never had while I was a kid! :D

Thank you for this new version Wanam. I still have the same problem with contacts. After synchronizing the contacts with google account I still can not acces my contacts.

Same for me and everybody.. i think it's samsung issue. I have downloaded go contacts ex from market and fixed

What about contacts FC, can someone plz try to edit delete or just mess around in contacts, i always get FC, i wiped all before install?

W8inn for next version this one deleted i cant use this one bcs my contacts and random restarts( but not full jsut on boot animation logo)

Sorry if this was asked.

1. page says to wipe then somewhere it says if coming from 2.3.5 it's not necessary (I'm on 2.3.6 though)

2. If I'm unhappy can I restore nandroid of my KK5 and have everything back to what it was - I'm asking cause I don't know what effect the new modem or w/e else gets updated will have.

3. I'm not sure if this is Samsung's ICS stripped of TW or AOSP ICS injected with Samsung tidbits =\

4. Does the caller screen have the high res contact pictures as seen in the stock ICS caller screen?

Thanks. I also downloaded Go contacts ex and now I can use my contacts. Anyway I can not see my Exchange contacts, but 1 its bigger then 0.

I still hope that the problem will be solved ASAP.

  1. Backup and Wipe your data before flashing
  2. You can't restore your modem, you have to reinstall it again
  3. Samsung ICS
  4. Look at screen captures.

Well, it's not been used as much in the day, but it has either wifi or mobile data connection all the time. Data synch is on, with Gmail, UK weather, Newsrob, Seesmic (Facebook), Tweetcaster - all on hourly sync with Gmail being push of course.

So, with a period last night on Airplane mode with the alarm functionality being used, I was at 1day 12hours @1%.

Not bad and the best I've had for a long time.

    Some simple tips to get the best of your battery life :

    Disable auto sync for accounts
    Disable GPS (and wifi gps)
    Disable auto backup of Gmail account
    Set wifi sleep policy to "Never"
    Set brightness level to automatic
    Disable motion
