I want to upgrade to version 4.8.28 via OTA Update . After update screen notified download completed approximate 6Mb, the OS auto reboot to TWP screen. I have to restart system and check About screen, OS version is still remain at 4.8.27. It's quite strange.

Firmware 4.11.14 ROW is light and quite stable. But there is a minor bug when the phone power-off and plugged into the charger, no battery progress icon shown instead logo Lenovo displays constantly.

Thanks for the ROM... I've downloaded and flashed it to my Phone...
Playing with it now... will post if need anything... tq

Anybody??
How do I activate data line on my 2nd SIM. I already choose 3G service on 2nd SIM but when i switch on data connection, It keep using the 1st SIM... Appreciate for help from anyboy... TQ

go to setting> Sim Management> Data connection :good:

Thanks Nishantj_2k..... it works.... but I have 1 more question.... why is that my whatsapp conversation didn't show saved contact? Just phone number?? All saved contact restored from importing from vcf file

you may have denied access to the contacts.

open app manager> whatsapp> manage permission> select trust this app

Can't go to the setting... Touch the Manage Permission but nothing happen

will this solve the issue?

NISHANTJ_2K... I think the problem is solve... It the Root Permission - Allow to apps get root permission... enabled it...
Then its OK

    I am using MIUI for more than 2 years now and I am glad I got this ROM for my Lenovo P780 too :victory:
    This version is compatible with ROW not like other which are only installable on Chinese ROMs

    Official Feature
    :HERE:

    REQUIRMENT

    *Lenovo P780 (obviously)
    *Rooted (go to following thread for one click root HERE)
    *CWM/TWRP installed
    *50% Battery Life


    PROCEDURE
    Copy the zip file on your SD card
    Backup your contacts, messages, and important data(recommended)
    for being safe side copy you internal SD card too(recommended)
    Reboot into RECOVERY
    take an nandroid backup(recommended)
    Wipe Cache, data & Dalvik cache
    install the zip file
    wipe cache again
    REBOOT (First Startup may take 5-10 minute)

    LED is not working for whatsapp I cant check for email as I dont use it. yes everything is working fine calls messaging camera music (headphone not checked yet)

    Its not related to this ROM its about the Stock ROM which is flashed via flashtool

    flashing 4Gb version of Stock ROM will repart the eMMc
    4Gb devices dont haave internal storage so same happen on flashing 4gb version stock rom on 8gb version device

    for kitkat devices try this
