AKG Q460
I use a set of AKG Q460 - you can pick them up on eBay (From the US) for a reasonable price. They give you the option of a cable with inline controls, or one without for other devices where need be.
The volume controls don't work out of the box though - but they should be controllable using an earphone control app, although i've not looked around enough to find one.
Regardless, they sound awesome and are very comfortable and they also come with a little carry case thing.

I use the triplefi10vi.
Can pause, play and skip songs with the control on the cable.
Also answer calls with the mic on it.

Work straight out of the box, no issues as far as i have discovered.
I was really surprised tbh, as i bought them for my old iphone.
When i decided to take the step over to android, i was a little annoyed that i could not use my triplefi as before. But i was very very happy when i found out it worked like a charm

thanks the great info. after a quick search on their website i just discovered that ultimate ears is literally within walking distance to my house. i will be stopping by tomorrow to buy the cable. thanks again
hi, I have a question about JAYS Headset Control and I dont know where to post it because I didnt find a single thread on the internet about the app =/ so I'm going to ask here: When the app is installed I dont have the 'lock screen controlls' anymore. the app works fine, but it seems to disable the lockscreen controlls. when I unistall the app, the lockscreen controlls work again. what is this? I'd like to use the app, but I cant live without lockscreen controlls...I'm on 4.0.4 (unrooted), tried all settings but none fixed the problem...anyone expierenced this?

edit: ok, just contacted the developer of Headset Droid:
"The ICS lockscreen is constructed so that only the current headset button receiver will be able to broadcast something to the lockscreen. Therefore the lockscreen feature in ICS will not work with any app that is used to control the headset clicks."

I got the Klipsch s4a earlier this week and I'm loving them. The app also works just fine for me.
I'm waiting for mine to arrive, so excited! Are they as good as everyone keeps saying?

EDIT: the lock screen controls seem to be intermittent as they show up for a second and then quickly disappear for me, I guess I didn't notice it disappeared when I unlocked my screen

I am currently using the ibeats that came from the HTC sensation XE on my GN but I am eyeing out on this one. You can also download the app from the marketplace and customize the headset functions to your liking =)1fyi who ever tells you to buy the ibeats by Dr. Dre are not doing you a favor. The sound quality on those headphones is terrible. I bought them and returned them within an hour. My $17 Phillips ones sound better then the ibeats. They are the worst headphones I have ever tried. Also they were not defective I had them exchanged as well before I returned them. They don't get loud at all.
