I am going to get my SM-T211 today evening.I am planning to root the phone but havent found really any good tool.Will this procedure work:

I am not a expert about things you know and also what is good working custom ROM for SM-T211 by the way?Can I flash TWRP or any custom rom without having to root the phone?

To flash a Recovery Cwm / PhilzTouch or Twrp you dont need Root, also to flash a Custumrom. For a custumrom you need The Recovery.But i prefere Cwm or PhilzTouch AS Recovery, a lot of users are Probe with Twrp.

Thanks Mate! It Worked!! I then applied performance tweaks from CWM after rooting it!! I found the performance tweaks thread very earlier on!! :D :good:

I see so much difference in tab's performance now!

Look out for one thread for performance
It is for t210 but it was ported for t211 too
It makes your device lag free while normally using.no lags
Will give you the link as i reach home
