Have you tried installing the camera from the older cm10 build? And on this build do we have to install apns separately?

Have been trying a few options for the camera seems to be a new Hw issue like the led light..... I installed this like an update over my old Cm10 so not sure about apn's would assume as a fresh install yes you would have to add them manually them.....

Here's a list of things that don't work/buggy:

-- No HDMI
-- Bluetooth and camera as mentioned
-- same cm10 triple moto logo splash screen on boot
-- Theres this animation bug, especially while scrolling, theres this pixelated lag, maybe its the HW acceleration bug reported by Wang.
IMG_0679_zps867b8ba5.jpg
IMG_0680_zps79e99069.jpg

The good stuff:

-- Hotspot/Tethering is working !
-- No need to add APNs
-- No screenshot / rotation animation bug
-- GPS is working fine
-- Youtube videos are streaming fine, no infinite buffering bug like from cm10.

Still an alpha build, but nothing to stop you from trying this out.. feels good to get the latest and greatest on our awesome phone !! :highfive:

Youve to flash this from 4.0.4 not 4.1.2.. fxz back to ICS and try again

I flashed it from PA (4.1.2) with no issues. I just couldn't stand the HW lag effect, and some slowdowns that occurred, so went back to PA for now :p

wow! you are fast! I just came back to edit my post regarding that and you have already done so. files/folders of interest are vendor are of interest. and kernel/omap4/drivers/gpu/pvr/module.c has some extra 'if's.. wang has not included those.. I have compared the stock ics kernels of razr and edison quite well.. the differences I found are that there are two new radio configs (PNX6718 (which I happen to have) and G4852) and there is the DinaraCG I told you about... they are present in our kernel source but not in razr. it appears to be present in droid 3 as well. also

Guys, hang tight. I promise there is something big on the horizon for the kexec kernel. I can't talk about it all, just yet, but rest assured that I am working on a few big things. One is to help the boot and black screen issues, first off. I have a pretty good idea of the issue, and when the engineering phone hits my door, I already have a stock kernel with root logging setup to troubleshoot the kexec kernel issues.

    More to come.

Yea I was reading that and yes we do have the most recent update ..... Sorry to get anyone going..... Will check with 591fan daily to see if anything new has been posted..... @ brianmoyano good looking on the Cm 10 .....

Due to my Internet Service Provider problem, I had some problem to visit xda( no css loaded on my internet explorer, look :crying: http://imagebin.org/244908), so I won't post new threads these days.

For camera, I had fixed some bugs( camera works as it on cm10 now), I'll continue look the source code, hope I can solve all bugs :)

    CM10.1 non-kexec version

I made a version of wanggjghost's CM10.1 without kexec. It should boot for all now.. but it is running on your stock ICS kernel, so expect to see the tearing/shifty UI and general lag. But looks like camera is working fine.
It has BMM recovery as default, and I also put the CMDefy recovery parts in there and included the recovery_switch so you can remove BMM.

You must be on the ICS 3.0.8 kernel. Install in custom recovery on any system you'd like..
    DOWNLOAD: CyanogenMod-Dev-edison-nightly-NONE_CN-20130328-2311-nokexec.zip
(You might want to rename the zip so it is easier to find from recovery - the last part of the package name gets cut off)

All credit and thanks and bug complaints go to wanggjghost since it is his work. I just swapped some stuff around ;)

So, if you can boot the kexec version, then you don't need this version.

FYI this post's OP should have a credit on it for the following devs:

Initial Kexec work / proof of concept done on Gingerbread:
Kholk from the Eternity Project (RAZR)
    [mbm] (Bionic)

Later kexec improvements and port for 512MB devices in ICS:

    Hashcode
    DHacker29

All of these projects above took countless hours of work to get this ROM to the point where you're seeing it on the Atrix 2.

I'm not bashing on wanggjghost, but this ROM is certainly not "All credits go to Wanggighost and 591fan.com" or "The posted / technologies Statement (COPYRIGHT)" in any way. This is open source and anyone is free to use our sources:
    https://github.com/STS-Dev-Team/

    Thank you.

Also, I received an Atrix 2 for development from XDA user rvalentin913. I'll post a new thread w/ support and how-to's as I get more development done and the device integrated into our manifest.
