Advice

- I strongly advice you to disable any lagfixes when upgrade to new roms or install new kernels.
- Always flash rom with FULLY charged battery
- Make backup of efs-folder (with Root Explorer or ADB)
- Do NOT restore system data, if you upgrade from 2.1 (Eclair)

- Battery questions: Battery

- Startup tweaks (Enabled via Clockworkmod Recovery) - recommended harmless tweaks to increase phone responsiveness: More info.

SetiroN's 1280mhz version seems to be ridiculously fast.. Not sure how others feel about this..

For the modem, I like the results I get with JK3 so far - some people still seem to revert back to the JPM modem however. I do have to reflash the modem.bin file after every ROM flash for some reason - other than reflashing the modem, I still like the JK3

Other requests:
Android Unlock screen seems to be popular as well
JM9 GPS files? Or something else that will work as well as those

I am guessing this will have hsupa and 850mhz access. I would love more options from the power button (restart,....). Also would love circle battery with battery%.

Any chance you could add TouchWiz launcher, I really like it better than the other launchers and I don't know how to add it back myself.

No. I didn't. Are you sure? Post 3 in this thread says to install any lagfixes after you flash the rom. Install seems way to fast to set up ext partitions, copy, and move data.

the kernel utilizes ULF (universal lag fix)
its a function of the kernel, and you access your lagfix options by booting into recovery and selecting the ULK option. then choose your poison. no-rfs advanced a=e4 is probably the best

I have one noob question. How are the updates going to be released? I understand how to use the kitchen. Is it just a base and you install no-wipe update packages?

    yes, thats the best way
an apks update generator will come so app upgrades can be made separately
A theme part will be up in few days.
