Ok, i got it built, had to edit a few mk files though... must be something about my slackware build.
Thanks!
I had repacked the SystemUI.apk that from gedeROM, with volume slider and modified battery icons.
Work fine! Before hashcode release the new one, if some one need it, here it is
Does this take a long time to boot for the first time?
I've tried flashing it over my JackpotCalvin ICS build and installing Hashcode's ROM with it built in and I have been on the opening animation for like 10 minutes.
I seem to have it working. I just redownloaded the kernel and flashed it again and all seems well as far as booting. However, I can only get WiFi to work in your CM9 version. Wifi will not toggle on in the other ROM (which is also CM9 based). Any ideas?Couple items to check:
- Flash in TWRP
- You will need to wipe when moving from any non CyanogenMode/3.0 kernel based ROM, can restore apps via Titanium Backup
1st boot is about a minute at the max. (Probably less)

Could just be from hardware damage, but I seem to be getting really bad "ghost images" on my screen on your new rom with the kernel integrated in. Trying to turn the brightness down to see if that effected it.

I think I've seen what he is talking about on cm 9 before the 3.0 kernel. Using tapatalk with black background, sitting there for a minute or so then trying to quickly scroll through the thread would cause the white text to kinda smear. Rebooting would fix it. I haven't seen it sense before the new kernel tho.
I'm having an issue with the word suggestions. I use Swype and as I type/Swype, there won't be any suggestions until I switch to the stock keyboard then back. it happens when I first start up the kindle and sometimes when I turn the screen off then back on, toggling keyboard is needed to get word suggestions to stay working again. Anyone know a way to fix this?
Its weird it won't show up when I take a picture :-\ its mostly the status bar, I can see I black line when I rotate the screen as well as the time burnt in. The worst is when I boot up and I get the android skateboarding dude burnt in for a while. Off topic but the sound for the keyboard just cut out too as I was typing this.

Is there a way you could put up an image? I wouldn't immediately jump to hardware damage when using a brand new kernel.
Have you seen the ghosting on other ROMs? Or you could try flashing back to stock even.
