Hi guys!
I am moving from Italy to Washington DC next week and I am looking for an American SIM card for my Note 2 (N7100).
I don't want to buy a new phone, mine is only a couple of months old.
I bumped into Solavei and they seem to have one of the best deals on the market (49$ for unlimited calls, text and data) but the phone must be a GSM phone operating on all the following 4 frequencies in order to work

850 MHz - 2G and voice (roaming only)
1900 MHz - 2G and voice not roaming
1700 MHz - 3G/4G Uplink Only
2100 MHz - 3G/4G Downlink Only

https://support.solavei.com/docs/DOC-1941

Would the Note 2 work with that carrier?
I found that it works on 3 out of the 4 frequencies required (850 Mhz, 900 Mhz, 1.9 Ghz, and 2.1 Ghz bands; and UMTS/HSPA+21 in 850 Mhz, 900 Mhz, 1.9 Ghz, and 2.1 Ghz).
Will it work on Solavei?

Any other carrier suggestions? I don't want a 2 year plan!!

Get straight talk. It will give you 3g.

With solavei, you'll be stuck on 2g.

Thanks, I thought that would have been the case with solavei...
I'm not convinced about straight talk, I have read about incomprehensible custom support and a not clear unlimited data policy.

Instead, last night, while I was browsing, I found this:
http://www.gottabemobile.com/2012/07/04/t-mobile-monthly-4g-review-30-per-month-bargain/
30$ for 100 minutes, unlimited text and first five GB up top 4g.

Would my note 2 have any problems on a t mobile network?
And does anybody know if, not having a 4g phone, the offer is still valid? Would I navigate on 3g speeds? Here in Italy I never go over 2 GB a month...
I would prefer t mobile because I would have the possibility of walking in a physical store.

Thanks for the advice!
