[Q] merging contacts

On Android 3.5, Sense 3 how can i merge the contacts i have in Google and Phone all in one place? Either to put them all on the phone or put them all in Google.

Might this be a question no one ever asked and never dealt with before, or might it truly be a hard question?

True, its Android 2.3.5 and Sense 3.0. But i wonder does this make any difference to what im asking for?
