yes the companion core will leak a lot more power at high clocks given its an LP core, but is still a 45nm core so no wonder for the speeds, Im always worried possible lag during screen unlock due to the switching, so it might be handy
anyway ill collect all the info posted by shaky and link them to the OP, thanks mate
wish we can confirm 3D GPU speed for AP33 @ 1.5ghz
The information im giving is from nvidea looking @ code, what htc provide might differ, remember the different variations of soc.
Its best not to put up gpu speeds in op
I was wrong about 2d core speed, ill have a look later at the gpu again (looked like gpu both 2d & 3d core can achieve 500mhz ( htc one x might be lower depending on what proc comm tells it)) ill have a look later to confirm
There shouldnt be any lag consodering nvideas direct touch technology which improves touch responsiveness, the touch proccessing is offloaded to application proccessor
EDIT: the cpu uses aggressive clock gating, so there wont be any lag when switching between companion cores and quad cores, cause the switch will be super quick
EDIT2: Theres 2 seperate channels for 2d clock and 3d clock, the memory controller on 2d clock is 300mhz, while the memory controller on 3d clock scales with the 3d clock scaling (if that makes sense lol)
EDIT3: 1 thing im dreading for you guys is the lack of support of drivers for their imagechip technology, my guess is htc will not release them just like beats audio code hasnt been released
Situation might end up like evo3d, (htc have not released 3d camera code)
