Could anyone please debunk this "myth", or question please?

Is it true that nowadays most US-based (Powergen seems to be a good brand nowadays) USB Wall chargers are able to accept both 110-220V inputs, and output real 2.1A (or more) outputs (sometimes split among usb sockets), and therefore, be able to use them internationally, to let's say, Argentina?

PS: The actual quality of the USB cable itself is important as well, since so many unknown brands of those cables out there are so cheap for a reason, they can't transfer that charge well, or even damage your device (learned the hard way).

I plan on taking a SAMSUNG Galaxy Note Pro 12.2's, and a Nexus 5 for work, and it's incredible the amount of fake Chinese copies of wall chargers, very outdated wall chargers at premium prices, and lack of information regarding their real outputs in South America that I'm really scared to try any of them :(
