Does the 120 dpi patch still work for 1.5? And if so, do we flash it before or after booting into rom for first time? Thanks.
I tried this Rom last night.
there are several issues with it:
1. I cant use the "su" command.
2. Statusbar is not there
3. No USB removable device mode, only usb debugging
4. No screen lock (There is only a "Placeholder" in Settings menu)
5. The power control widget isnt working. It simply doesnt show anything, its only a grey bar without symbols if you drag it to the home screen

I tried version 1.5 with the patch for the disappearing action bar yesterday. All seemed to work great, love the cornerstone, but wifi would not connect, no matter what. Should I apply supreme mods again after booting? Or is there another fix I`m missing?
Try deleting /data/misc/wpa_supplicant.conf then reboot.
This will wipe all of your saved connections, but generally fixes wifi issues.
When I flashed this, all I had to do was reboot a couple of times, and wifi kept working.
Which version did you flash? If 1.5, did you also flash the status bar patch9-hich also fixes a couple of other issues?
If so, it sounds like a bad download. I get root access just fine, I have my statusbar, I get the lockscreen(however sometimes it takes a minute to kick in, dunno about this one, doesn't bother me much), and my power widget loads and works fine(although, don't need it, the toggles are in the statusbar)
I highly recommend downloading 1.5 and the statusbar patch, and flashing both, then booting.

My bad, forgot to mention I updated the 1.5 ROM download link. The patch is now integrated into the ROM, so you just flash the ROM by itself. You need to re-download 1.5 though if you downloaded it before 5pm PDT.

OP updated with AOKP Beta 1. Wifi works much better on the AOKP version. It connects about 9 times out of every 10 reboots without Rohan's mod. Only known bug right now is lock screen currently does not work. I'll see if I can get that fixed next week.
I'm a little confused, does the AOKP beta 1 linked in the OP include cornerstone? When you say lockscreen doesn`t work, does that mean when I turn the screen on it works normally, or do we get some FC because of the lockscreen?

No, you also need to replace CSPanel.apk from the 120dp patch.

No FC, everything works fine, It's just the lockscreen never shows up when you turn on the screen.

This is more-or-less a straight kang of CM9 and AOKP for the HP Touchpad with Onskreen's Cornerstone baked in. If you're not familiar with Cornerstone, check out http://www.onskreen.com/cornerstone/
In a nutshell, Cornerstone is a Android modification that allows for true multitasking. Not the "Press the Back button to go to the previous app"-type of multitasking, but actually being able to have 3 applications running at once. Cornerstone utilizes the additional screen real estate on tablets to keep up to 3 applications on your screen at one time. It's kind of hard to understate what a different experience Android is using Cornerstone. Check out the screenshots to see what I mean!
Cyanogen himself is using it and loves it, and is trying to incorporate it into CM9, although there are some roadblocks: https://plus.google.com/u/0/100275307499530023476/posts/ViCME1bb8F6 Having said that, Cornerstone isn't perfect- there are still some rough edges to iron out, and porting it to the Touchpad was a little tricky, but it should be

- All the known CM9 bugs (i.e. no camera)
- Wifi is buggy for some (see comments below) (FIXED)
- Bluetooth (?)
- Recent apps out of focus in landscape (looking into it)
- Changing the DPI messes with the CSPanel (although the functionality remains intact) (FIXED)
- Videos will not run with the CSPanel active, you'll need to minimize it for full screen (FIXED)
- Some apps get "stuck"- either rotate landscape to portrait or vice versa, or close Cornerstone and launch it again (FIXED)
- The Home selection menu is buggy- working on a fix (FIXED)

On a slightly different note, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for all of your support during the making of this ROM. My XDA RD application recently got rejected, but rather than being bitter about it it made me realize that I'm developing for the community, not for a silly title (actually I just wanted the RD status for more hosting solutions, but that's a different story). Nonetheless, it hasn't affected my desire to develop ROMs- in fact it makes me want to spend more time developing. So thanks again everyone for your support.10Hello everyone, I apologize for the lack of updates. Believe me when I say that development has not stopped and this ROM is not dead. In fact, I am in the process of pushing my Touchpad commits upstream, so hopefully if approved, there will be future support for the Touchpad with little/no changes to the code. This will make Touchpad development much easier for everyone.
Now even if those changes are approved, the real issue at this point is that Cornerstone does not support Android 4.0.4. I've been working through each of the compile errors manually, but it's a slow and tedious process. I've also been working with the Onskreen devs directly to resolve some of the issues. I can't give an ETA yet, but I think I'm close. Once that happens, though, you should see Cornerstone development pick up again and hopefully see it on all your favorite ROMs.
