There has been a lot of buzz about Samsung's problems with USSD Codes.
I always believed that HTC couldn't fall on the same issues and I recorded a video to prove that the HTC One X doesn't has that built-in Factory Reset USSD Code that appears in the list.
International version, official OTA ICS 4.0.4/Sense 4.1 Never modified.

(Still uploading though! Will be ready in less than an hour!)

Updated OP. Thx!
Did you also try the factory format code (*2767*3855#)?
I don't know why people are impressed it doesn't work for the One X, it's a Samsung specific code.
The One X is vulnerable to remote USSD execution, though.
Hi,
Since i have update to Jelly Bean 4.1.1 orignal rom for HTC for HOX, the *#*#3424#*#* = HTC Function Test program doesn't work anymore
This not the HTC Function Test v3.01.01g anymore but i have HTC Function Test v4.01.01g, is there a different code to access this new version?
Thx
I'm om JB 4.2.2. Any idea how to get the HTC Function Test or some inbuiled battery test to work? If there is any such any longer?
I am not responsibly for anything you do with the codes. Some of them might be able to do a factory reset or something similar. You MAY brick your device with some of the codes.
You should post the code to activate the self detonate feature.
Can anyone confirm the Display Test Menu *#*#0*#*#* and what it does? I will be buying the phone in store tomorrow, and this could help me check for screen flaws..
