By that, do you mean that the screen won't dim and then suddenly turns off when it times out? This is an awesome app. i've already purchased it.
I was wondering would a setting to keep the screen bright even on battery be possible?
Thanks

Guys I need some help. Two users now have reported that KS is not keeping the screen on in the latest version of MIUI ROMs. Anyone here on MIUI?
Thanks for chiming in. That's not a bug, it should be changing that setting. Is KS successful in keeping the screen on through motion or otherwise?Yes, I have MIUI and just installed KS for the first time on my new Redmi Note 2. It caused a bug whereby if you go to MIUI settings, If you change the sleep time to two minutes, it does not save this and changes back to 15 seconds (default).
1. Go to Settings -> Lock Screen
2. Change "Sleep" from 15 seconds to 2 minutes
3. Switch off the phone
4. Turn back on and it was 15 seconds again.
I uninstalled KS and it immediately fixed this bug.
I am running China Beta Developer ROM v5.8.27 (MIUI 7)

No of course not. It's supposed to keep the screen on through motion, or angle, or by waving over proximity (all the options you see). For some reason it is not working on MIUI 6+ . Is there anything built into MIUI that blocks wakelocks?I reinstalled KS from the App Store.
On first run, the Motion sensor would change when I moved the device.
Then the screen turned off after 20 seconds.
When I wake the device a second time, the Motion sensor is stuck at 49.6 and greyed out.
Then the screen just turns off again after 20 seconds.
Am I to assume that this you designed it on purpose to switch off the screen after 20 seconds unless I pay for the full version?
Because that seems like a counter-intuitive thing, to actually reduce the functionality of my device?
Kinscreen doesn't work stable in the Android M Preview. It works for a while but sometimes (I don't know when) it comes to a situation where the motion indicator is green and flickering, but proximity and screen are static red (indicating the Priority Sensor is covered, but it isn't) and the screen switches off, even I'm moving the device (since it wrongly detects the covered proximity sensor)
I know it's a preview, but...
This is often a problem if the glass over the proximity sensor gets dirty. Can you see if cleaning it does anything when this happens? What device is this on?
Interesting. I'm on a Nexus 5 myself but haven't tried the M preview yet. It's probably time to. If it really is a problem with M that would be bad.I will try. It's a Nexus 5 using M-preview.
When this happens, I switch off/on the display using the hardware on/off switch and everything is fine
Todays play store update to version 2.2.0 immediately stops when I activate it (“kinscreen wurde beendet“ in German)Interesting. I'm on a Nexus 5 myself but haven't tried the M preview yet. It's probably time to. If it really is a problem with M that would be bad.
Yup it's an issue with M. I'll fix it today.Todays play store update to version 2.2.0 immediately stops when I activate it (“kinscreen wurde beendet“ in German)

Wrong place here, but the same is true for MiniMap
2.2.1 (out now) should have fixed the crash. MiniMap is next.
