Could just be my imagination, but 1.2 seems to be much snappier. I'm using Phablet (I like my stuff at the top) and Motley.

Great ROM! Might want to update your second link for Version 1.2. I downloaded it and it still said 1.0. I then flashed it just thinking that the file was named incorrectly, but it was indeed 1.0. No big deal, I'll use the other link when I get home from work tonight.

Overall great stuff. All the goodies of AOKP plus a couple other options. It's fun to try out kernels too, though it seems like Stock is still the most reliable. I couldn't get flash player or even the Netflix app to work on Motley. Franco seems a little better though I'll probably just stick with stock.

The OP has been updated, thanks for the tip, I was so tired last night lol, went to bed at like 4 am.

You say you couldn't get flash player or Netflix to work on Motley? I'll take a look and try and see what is going on. I'll do a clean install with Motley and test flash player and Netflix. I did not test flash player on every kernel, on a couple I did, to make sure it worked but not all as I didn't suspect there would be an issue.

most of the time flash keeps crashing my browser.

Flash is working for me using Motley. IDK about Netflix because I don't have that, but HBOGo and Xfinity Player works.

Keep in mind that Flash will not work using Chrome.....you have to use the included browser.

Hmm...that's really weird. On ver 1.0, I tried 3 different sites with the stock browser on Motley, all no go. What Netflix would do is start to play the video, but then crash the minute I'd hit the volume slider.

I got my grandson to sign in on his Netflix and it works just fine....you might want reflash or run fix permissions.

We may actually be looking at a potential AOKP bug. I saw someone post in the Official AOKP thread that they were experiencing force closes on programs if their headphones were plugged in. My Netflix issues happened when my headphones were plugged in.

I believe I read in one of the AOKP forums that it might be caused by the safe headset volume option. If you turn that off it may fix the issue. Not 100% about it though.

I hate to keep butting in without a solution, but I can't duplicate this problem. I've tried opening Netflix with the h/p's plugged in and plugging in after I open Netflix.....I have used the volume control slider and the volume rocker.

Nice ROM.I like the installer too . like everyone else I miss the dual panel apps too. Is it an easy fix to get them working?

Thanks for all the compliments guys, glad you guys like it. :)

There is not an easy fix but I have been looking into it a bit, I'm sure AOKP is going to add dual pane back in soon along with the DPI Changer(which I though was already back?).

I could possibly modify the framework-res.apk and enable dual pane, but there would be no option to turn it off so then I would have 2 version of the ROM, One including dual-pane and one not. I'm still looking into other solutions.

Is anyone having system ui force closing in tablet mode? I was on the other aokp builds that have tab ui, and everytime I opened certain apps the system ui would fc and the nav bar would restart.

According to the AOKP devs, the tablet ui is in alpha and still being worked on.

If you are using a theme, Like the included one AlloyUI, Tablet UI does have a System UI force close issue. It seems to work fine for me unthemed, though I have not tested a lot of apps with it so I don't know if some apps lead to issues, as you have experienced.

EDIT: It has been brought to me attention that some themes so work with Tablet UI, you'll just have to test the theme you want to use. I recommend backing-up before doing this because of the System UI FC issue. You don't need to, you can SLOWLY navigate to UI Mode a put it in phablet mode, slowly because you'll have to close the FC prompt every couple seconds.

Themes I know work:
Jellybean Exteme - tested by me, all the different colors should work, I only tested one obviously. ;)

    Installation Steps
    1. Backup current ROM via custom recovery
    2. Factory Reset, Wipe Cache, and Wipe Dalvik
    3. Flash Dirty AOKP v4.3.zip
    4. Choose the Aroma options you want.
    5. After selecting Additional Apps the ROM will be flashed
    6. Reboot when finished
    7. Enjoy!

    What features do you want to see added to Dirty AOKP? Apps, Mods, Kernels, anything, I will take every suggestion into consideration. :)

    Features wanted by users

    Dual-panel view - [ADDED]

    Note: For every release the base will be compiled same day.


    Tips

    • For status bar transparency to work you have to have a default launcher selected. This is what I experinced using Nova and the Stock Launcher.

    • Tablet UI Mode: If you want the Nav Bar/Status Bar to have vertically centered notification icons DO NOT adjust the Height of the Nav Bar.
    • When you enter Tablet UI(and select it) you should have not changed the Nav Bar Height. That is the only way it will look and stay vertically centered.
    • You may be able to changed it in Phablet UI, put it back to 48 dpi, then select Tablet UI, and reboot to enter Tablet UI. This may work I have not tried it yet.

    v5.1 will be amazing, PUB will be back, 4.2.2 Gapps added, kernel updates, and many other updates Ive yet to look into. :)

    I gotta work on getting KingBeatZ working correctly also. May end up going with v3.0.3, the last version with the BeatZ DSP manager.

    Lol I know I said like 2 days in a row that it was coming "today". I feel like both dirty ROMs need updated so I will TRY to do Dirty AOKP today(grouper, possibly tilapia too). Thank you all for your patience.
