Yes i cherry-picked the changes he made to the source files on a few of the trees and as such left in the changes to the kernel also. When you go to developers options you can pick from the kernels. I havent tried it myself but i imagine it works just fine.

The only reason i had the time to release this version of CM is because of the hard work that has been done with ucyan there is no way i would have released it without his work. I have personally always had a version of Lollipop AOSP but never released it because i honestly dont have the time to maintain it. I only released this because everynow and then i will be able to update it using his code as a base.

@DvDwx. from me no projects, sorry. My XAS bricked.

Thank you both about developing this miraculous projects to this Old cell phone ;D
I am will pass my XAS to my brother who maybe continue my projects... i'm already get the MediaTek MT 6592 kernel source code (KitKat outdate source) and some repositories to next months start developing to BLU Vivo Air(Gionee Elife S5.1)... that will be a huge project to me... even without an updated sources and specifics repositories to this cell phone..
Anyway Good Developing projects to both :highfive:

A solution to my installation problems...
I found the system partition in use, or such errors.
With some looking around on the xda, I decided to try
formating everything except sd and internal memory, that did not help before,
then make sure the system and everything was mounted
I had removed the lines
"show_progress(0.750000, 0);
format("ext4", "EMMC", "/dev/block/mmcblk0p12", "0", "/system");
mount("ext4", "EMMC", "/dev/block/mmcblk0p12", "/system", "max_batch_time=0,commit=1,data=ordered,barrier=1,errors=panic,nodelalloc");"
from updater script....
Then while flashing gapps etc superuser etc, I also flashed hikari_dual_recovery_boot-aosp-5.0.zip from http://d-h.st/users/paul-xxx/?fld_id=41762#files
So that I don't need to flash boot.img using fastboot when I want to change to another rom or clear cache etc (I Hope this boot.img will work fine...)
and now I could install the CM12... it is running.
So if someone gets the same error, this is how I did it

I do not think if this is related but for most roms I always need to remove the first "hikari /acro-s / lt26w" lines from the updater script. (At some time, my device started thinking in recoveries it is not an acro-s, I wish I could repair that...)

Hi,
Somehow I cannot install this rom in my Acro-s...
It hangs with several tried recoveries at
mmcblk0p12 (in use or something)
I can install the [AOSP] - Android 5.0.2 - Release V7 Bpaul rom however, but even with that recovery it stops with "detecting ext4 at mmcblk0p12" when trying to install cm12
Anyone got an idea?
I have the twrp recovery log when bpaul 5.0.2 v7 version was installed and trying to install CM12 5.0.2 failed:

A solution to my installation problems...
I found the system partition in use, or such errors.
With some looking around on the xda, I decided to try
formating everything except sd and internal memory, that did not help before,
then make sure the system and everything was mounted
I had removed the lines
"show_progress(0.750000, 0);
format("ext4", "EMMC", "/dev/block/mmcblk0p12", "0", "/system");
mount("ext4", "EMMC", "/dev/block/mmcblk0p12", "/system", "max_batch_time=0,commit=1,data=ordered,barrier=1,errors=panic,nodelalloc");"
from updater script....

Try do a Clean Fresh Install... A Real Full Wipe..
- Come Back to Sony .96 FTF (RESET ALL CUSTOMIZATIONS)
- than Root using Root MANY ANDROID Tool...
- Than Flash Advanced Kernel to have CMW and TWRP recovery using Flash Tool fastboot Mode / Menu...
- after that USING CWM go and flash CM12 .zip ... (he will show only one error and it will take time to install .. average 8 minutes...
- than complete the installation Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache and DON'T REBOOT!! ... you will need Flash GAPPS and than Flash SuperSU... and than Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache again...
- than Reboot and Wait average 10~15 minutes to ART compile the Cache and other things... :good:

The rom is good so far, but I'm using another kernel from @BPaul. The screen is not flickering all the time (kernel related?), the focus button works for me, also all other functions. GPS not tested because not needet. Brightness control works very good (automatic).
Installation was very bad, first time with abort with error in updater script. O had to flash another lollipop rom and than this rom. After first and second boot sdcard was not present (empty at PC), the third reboot brings it back.... Now all seems to be o.k.

 Bro how did you get the focus button working? Please let me know I have tried everything, right now I'm flashing BPaul's kernel to see if it works... Could you tell me which kernel you used to make the button work? (paste the link here pls)

Also is the bluetooth sharing service force close for you too?

Thank you,
lots of love

Bro look at the thread posts above, DvDwx. and couple of others have answered this question now more than a few times:-

Anyways, try this and thank DvDwx. for the solution above!!!

Love and Peace

at sometimes start have some glitches on system... on every app too... the system start become more slow... when that happens you need backup everything and make a FULL REFRESH INSTALL!... Format->Flash FTF->Root+CustomKernel->Format And Flash again the CyanogemMOD... just let warned if someone here stay with that problem using that ROM

I recently managed to flash CM13 on a Galaxy S4.

Sorry, this confuses me a bit.

Can i use the receipe of the S4 flash to fill the gaps in your receipe?

- Sony.96 Ftf is what?
- Then i should root with a tool named: Root MANY ANDROID Tool?
- "Than Flash Advanced Kernel to have CMW and TWRP recovery using Flash Tool fastboot Mode / Menu... "
- Advanced kernel? CMW? TWRP, i have used and i can probably use the flash tool that i used with S4 flashing?
- after that USING CWM go? I guess i first need to install CWM go, whatever this is and then twrp.

Sorry, there is a lot of unknown steps here, i could probably surf and read for several hours to find out this. I hope you could help me a bit on the way?

Which phone are You trying to flash on? If it is Xperia S, then I wouldn't recommend this ROM.
If it is Galaxy S4, You need to ask in the Galaxy S4 thread.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    BEFORE INSTALLING BUGS ARE

No Recovery.... So unless you know how to use fastboot i suggest you not install it.
What you do is install the ROM then install Gapps and SuperSU If you want to revert to a different ROM you will need to first flash boot.img from one one of my earlier ROMs or a different rom entirely from fastboot.
So just to recap install the ROM.... Do not leave recovery, flash Gapps Do not leave recovery, then flash SuperSU and it will work.

Ok there is a new release in the first post.

But there is one issue and that is that it has no recovery. SO make sure you know how to use fastboot to flash another boot.img if you want to swap back to another ROM. (on my todo list) So as there is no recovery you need to flash the ROM the Gapps and SuperSU all at the same time. DO NOT LEAVE RECOVERY. So install ROM then install Gapps then install SuperSU. I linked all the files in the first post.
