[Q] Carrier Question

Hi There, please could someone help, My ace II is at the moment on stock JB , but rooted, with temporary CWM Recovery in zip file on ext sd card, ready to use, still on stock recovery for now, I have all downloads ready on PC. but I wish to know if I can install a custom rom, with my phone being locked to o2, or does it have to be sim free phone as I have been told.

Im pretty sure you can flash a custom rom on sim locked phone..

Yeah, it will also unbrand as a bonus, but lock data (and IMEI) are on the "CSPSA" partition which is never* flashed

(repartitioning between 2.x and 4.x appears to flash CSPSA, but for semi-obvious reasons and who knows what implementation it's not completely replaced)
