I was looking for a reason to go back to Sense, but I couldn't find one. GPS locks almost instantly. MMS works great. Phone works in speaker and normal mode. Had the slight crackle in speakers when playing music but a little DSP magic and I can't tell the difference between my setting and Beats.

The only thing that would draw me back is blink feed but tbh I don't use it as much unless I'm bored. I can always use flip board for news feeds unless someone has a better suggestion.

ZOE is exclusive to Sense. Haven't taken any actual pics being that there is a thunderstorm out so I can't really test it. From what I can tell, there are plenty of options including a burst mode. Rear and front camera works. The image looks wide and full so it is utilizing the pixels as they were intended.

So asfar as installation goes, I have TWRP. I know to wipe cache, dalvik, factory reset but a little confused on Formatting data. If I do that, won't it delete everything including internal storage? I see under Advanced Wipe, there is an option to wipe system. Is this the same as Formatting data? Sorry for the newbness, this is my first phone without a sd card slot. I'm used to "formatting data" while having the external storage to keep the Rom on.

Do Wipe-Advanced wipe-select first 4 (all except usb-otg). That is it. :good:

If you do the wipe data, it wipes internal storage.

Does anyone feel that tge 361 dpi setting makes things to small? What would be the next best setting? Thanks.... This is running buttery smooth btw. Feels so good to be outta sense. :)

So I finally flashed an AOSP rom and I'm happy to report that my phone didn't mysteriously brick itself or catch on fire.

I was very surprised at how all the major functions work. Here is everything that worked:

    3g
    4g
    GPS (over 3&4G)
    MMS send and receive

However, here are the issues I had:

Camera despite saying 4MP seems to be of lesser quality than Sense camera. May be my imagination.

LCD Density: the default is super tiny. Didn't like it at all. If someone knows what the standard Sense DPI is for this phon can you please advise.

When choosing to change the soft keys on the bottom I experienced the edited button not functioning. To be more specific I set the back button to close an app when ling pressed. After choosing that option the back button wouldn't work at all.

My biggest issue was that using Nova launcher the scrolling was significantly chopier than on stock. No matter what launcher settings I tried I couldnt get it feeling just right.

Overall, I think it's really solid overall Rom. I would say that if I could find and apply the exact LCD density of stock and have the launcher perform more smoothly I would make this my DD

Standard dpi is 480 but 440 - 480 looks good
Try turning off wallpaper scrolling in nova should stop the choppiness
Also you can DL Apex launcher it's pretty nice
