You could disable it, but that still will not allow you to flash. The KNOX APP and the KNOX fuse are not the same thing. If kill KNOX and flash a kernel aside from using Safestrap you will trip the KNOX counter and you may even brick your phone.

I won't be flashing any kernels or roms. I'll be sticking with stock.

Then why are you even interested in disabling KNOX. It does nothing at the moment. But once Samsung decides to and sends out the update. It will be used to validate your phones system status and security before it is allowed to connect to corporate networks that use KNOX on their servers as well. The idea is to create a network where all devices are secure and have not been nor show signs of tampering with firmware or system files.
