I'm thinking of getting the official black bumper https://play.google.com/store/devi...mper_Case_Black?id=nexus_5_bumper_case_black and cruzer lite tru glass http://www.cruzerlite.com/truglass-flexible-glass-nexus-5 together. I saw the post 9 comment but just wondering if anyone has anything to say about using these two items together? Or any comments regarding cruzerlites glass vs spigen vs another brand?

I feel glass protectors in general are about the same. At first I was skeptical of unknown generic branded glass protectors but having tried one from China, honestly it feels awesome. I don't see a difference between that and branded glass protectors besides the huge price difference and nicer packaging.

Downside is probably lack of after sales support as compared to branded ones.

I personally is using a 0.33mm round edges glass protector. Avoid straight edge ones as those are prone to chipping.

Glass Friendly Case

I own both the Ballistic Tough Jacket Maxx and the Spigen Ultra Hybrid.

The Tough Jacket is a glass friendly case that will definitely fit with the screen protector you applied to your phone. The material on the inner layer is soft which gives it the ability to adjust to the thickness of the glass.

On the other hand, the Ultra Hybrid does lift up the edges of the screen protector. I would not buy the Ultra Hybrid unless you are using a Spigen screen protector since they take the thickness of the screen protection into consideration when manufacturing the case.

And what do you prefer? slim or ultra hybrid?

both feels similar but the ultra hybrid clear back will gather fingerprint smudges easily after using it for a while.

Personally I prefer the Slim Armor more as the clear see through back is not that important to me. It has more protection compared to the Ultra Hybrid.

Since i bought my nexus 5 I already equipped my phone with momax pro glass screen protector (0.3mm thickness) but I am worried if it will prevent me from buying fitted cases like spigen slim armor. any advice?

The slim armor works fine but my ultra hybrid is what gave me problems lifting the glass, these 2 are the only ones I have tried it with
