what u should do (my version)
1.Open the box And Start off with a stock Kindle on original 6.2.1 FW
2.Root the Kindle + Install Firefirefire + TWRP using Kindle Fire Utility
3.Extract the contents of the download(cm7barebones-sdcardroot.7z) to the root of your sd card
4.Boot into recovery. (Hold power button until it turns orange when you first power on your Kindle Fire)
5.Make backup
6.Wipe System, Cache,Dalvik Cache
7.Flash "Flash "Step_1_CM7BAREBONES.zip" - DO NOT REBOOT
8.In TWRP, Click Restore, and choose "STEP_2_CM7BAREBONES". Make sure "Data" is checked and select "Restore Now".
9.Reboot And enjoy.
I tried these steps. When I got to step 7, TWRP says that the zip file cannot be unzipped. It then just hangs on that and I have to do a hard reset. Anyone experience this or know what I'm doing wrong?

Here is a another test build (Step One only). Based on 03-25-2012 with ravens 20120223_1513 kernel. If all is well and I get good reports, I will add it to post #1. Thanks.

Do you have a changelog for this update? I'm testing now.

It came back when CWM came about. You do not want to use it if using TWRP, as it will cause you problem's.It shows a commit that takes recovery off the reboot menu, but its still there. Just wanted to point that out

Yea, I have no problem compiling myself, but some user's like the option. So saves me a step, as I rarely fire up my build box anymore. There's two branches bro, just pull from the gingerbread-twrp branch if you want the reboot recovery option left out.
Edit: That's assuming you are looking into compiling something yourself otherwise sort of moot lol

I did not. Might come in the next version. The current Supercharge seem's just fine to me. I doubt the tweaks for our device would change any, anyhow. Looking at the Supercharger changlog. It just look's to kill a couple bugs (in the install script) and fix some of the user prompt's. Which would not effect anyone using this rom. But none the less. I will try to get it in the next version.
Like a BOSSI went about it by just doing a backup of my System, Data, and boot files in TWRP, did a complete wipe, (Factory reset, System wipe, Cache & D-cache wipe) flashed this updated ROM over with new kernel, then restored my backup file, Data Box checked only, and was back to my good ole setup once again (All apps, wallpapers, etc). And now I have the updated ROM running, Smooth and Easy.
