relating arc and play...

it is not possible to run a rom made for arc to run in play??
is there a way to make that arc rom possible to run in play??
can someone wil try this out??

it CAN but the rom needs some editing.
it is not so easy (everything is landscape wifi bluetooth not working)
this need to be in Q&A

i knw tht.. but developers see android development more often than going in q n a zone.. what say nick??
arc's arconium rom can be ported to play?? wil anyone try this out?? but u told it rite, Bt and basic functions should be working
wil help u if u need any...

you mean ics arconium?
yes that CAN but it is hard (we are worked a long time on sony beta to get it in portrait and get wifi working)

Is it impossible to fix that? I remember the time around christmas you guys had some pretty nice ICS Desire HD/Z/S ports on the FTP... but you are right, none of them had data/wifi/bluetooth...

one had wifi but that was 4.0.1
maybe we can fix wifi/data but i am working on a other project now (secret)

Okay...

.....Sony Beta and AOSP ICX are no secret .... MIUI4 is done by pricey2009... CM9 is done by FreeXperia...

I guess it is Sense (4) or AOKP....or maybe Xperia S ROM....

If it is be Sense 4 from the HTC One X it would be awesome .. but i dont think that we never get anyrom of ics that works without any probs...

So I'm still waiting for Sony's official ICS release wich comes april/may..

While I'm waitin for this, I'm lookin for a second smartphone for ~150€ like a used HTC HD2 from eBay.. it is the best phone for rom flashing i think..

Xperia Play is Nice to Play but not to develope..!

It gets better and better... remember in august he were "OMG iam so happy we have cm7 now" you now? Than look what we have now and then imagine what we have another half year later.
I think ROM flashing is very much fun and interesting and so on but i would not buy another phone just to flash roms...

Außerdem, spätestens wenn das offizelle ICS update da ist, dann werden auch die AOSP/CM9 custoom roms keine oder nur noch minimale bugs haben.

maybe with data to sd or deleting some unneccesary system apps?
