Feedback

Can anyone who has been using Version 3.1 of this ROM be kind enough to give me a good detailed review of how the ROM in general is....Any bugs ??? etc...

I am currently using Deepshining ROm...(just flashed yesterday

) and already wanna use this.

As always, it still a very good rom. Well atleast for me. Although download link has a problem. Been using this for a couple of weeks now.

Well first of all. All features are working properly, Marketplace is now working after the fixed version released by Zloy. Battery performance still as good as the later version. I can sideload xap through wXapassistant or device center without any problem. Apps are able to upgrade without any hiccups.

Theres just one problem about the download link, well atleast for me. Although I downloaded the 3.1 fixed version through skydrive download from a good fellow here named NebZoNe.. (btw, thanks to you S'Nebz)

can you give me the download link too so I can try ?
also how many other OEM apps are included ??? and does it have the Camera Modes feature...example panorama and burst modes from HTC Titan camera ?

Can someone advise me a good link to download the latest rom and the instruction on how to upload into my HD7?
Currently, my HTC is having 7.10(8107) . Possible to upgrade?

I noticed that the battery suddenly started to empty very quickly.

After each reboot the phone is switched on wifi but can not be seen except in the applications Battery status (phone info) and Quick launch.

In order to work properly (after reboot) WIFI must first be switched on/off and then after that the battery (and wifi) is behaving normally.

Rarely restart the phone so I do not mind, but...

give it a try for yourself, I used to use the deepshinning roms, nothting wrong with them. A couple of versions back I tried nextgen and haven't gone back. Has a different feel, hard to explain, but you will notice it right away.

I believe panorama and burst modewill never be available to all first gen wp7 phone because of the limitations on the hardware. but correct meif im wrong.

H.Have you tried doing a hard reset on the phone. Or tried reinstalling the ROM?

Is ROM Next-Gen update-able ?

Hello,

when Microsoft will put on-line new updates, it will be possible with this ROM to receive them directly by Zune to install them on our smartphone? Because that would avoid having to reinstall the 12 billion applications and games after every flashage of our phone...

Bravo for the great job realized on this ROM Next-Gen

I came back to the thread just to tell the same thing, I installed the ROM 2 weeks ago and the last days I saw the battery was draining pretty quickly, I wil try what you say to improve the battery life and tell what happened..
Also, I have another problem, now my Quick launch app is not working (neither the 'search key' in settings) when I touch the search button, it loads something but it closes, it's difficult to explain, I uninstalled the quick launch app and I want to uninstall the search key app also, so could someone please attach 'search key xap' and 'quick launch xap'?

you have to downgrade your htc to install rspl and hspl by cotulla downgrade to nodo (my self) use rspl by ansar and any offical rom available..install rspl / hspl and flash this rom

p.s: your hd7 must be Europe

Hi Zloy,
I'm using 3.1 since few days...works really good Thx!!! battery life is quite good...no bugs for now but I'm expecting that SearchKey/QuickLaunch functions will be out of order at any time (unfortunately all roms carrying those fantastic ultrashot's apps are concerned...hope for a fix soon)
It's the first rom i used that brings all correct camera settings "one shot". i appreciate!
Bloodred background & black tiles: my phone is a piece of art!!

n.b.:for those who know issues with searchkey setting and want to uninstall it, just use windows phone power tool and look for 5a3a52e5-6a6d-4f06-87af-60cb1bbaec68 xap id...sharing the xap file won't help because at this time installing it again won't fix the issue (same for quicklaunch). And here's my best advice : pay a real attention to the microsd you use, it could change everything!
