Well I wanted to include a shortcut icon for equalizer\sound-enhancements in now playing screen for some time now but hadn't had time,but today I had some time and ;)

This is Xperia Z walkman app little modified here and there to look and work little better :cowboy:

Modifications done,

  • Shortcut for sound settings added to the action bar & a new icon for this
  • Track title color & selected action bar icon changed
  • New app icon(if you don't like it delete music_app_icon.png in mod zip before flashing)
  • Stage glow background changed to tablet mode one
Instructions,

  1. Install the attached semcmusic.apk as a normal app,it will ask to update the current app press yes
  2. mount /system and /data from CWM
  3. flash the attached zip via cwm then & reboot

Well I was editing it to use in my s3 :silly:
it should work,edits doesn't depend on resolution,it doesn't work ?

btw did you followed instructions exactly? cos attached semcmusic apk is unmodded apk from sxz dump

Thanks...it worked..but only for hdpi and xhdpi...no love for mdpi...

mount system = ok

but... how to mount data ?

that command doesn't exist on CWM v2

    for XPERIA S .try it this,to unpack archive, and to get from there SemcMusic.apk, - Replace in /system/app
    - Change permission to: r w - r - - r - -
    - Reboot... I collected manually. I didn't change an application icon.
