Sometimes it is better to remain silent than to talk, if there is nothing you have to say.

If you want to remain silent then why don't you just get off from this thread l.
It'll save you from frustration n let others have fun :p

Sure, but thats not the reason of this thread. Or should this really be just an empty thread with "Ive got it" message at the end?

Really, I dont understand why this topic keeps to annoy some people. So what we repeat the same things all the time? It doesnt affect the rest of the XDA forums, does it?

The fun being that history repeats itself?

1. Google announces updates.
2. Google fails to deliver.
3. "OMG I am never buying another Google product again in my life!"
4. OTA comes.
5. "OMG I love you Google!"
6. "Google you suck, this update is so buggy."

Lather, rinse, repeat.

Don't worry dude... nobody is going to hate JB unless he/she is destined to not like anything ever in his/her life :p
I tried JB AOSP myself n what I felt about JB, it's best OS ever :)

I remain skeptically optimistic. However having his email as his username makes it easy to exact revenge if it turns out to be trolling. Readying every newsletter I can find.

The fact that he's been a member for 6 minutes doesn't bode well...

It would've been nice if the screen cap was of the notification and pop up box that usually shows up before you actually install it.

I need links as people get them. I will post the direct Google links in this thread and the OTA files will be mirrored at http://www.randomphantasmagoria.com/firmware/nexus-s for posterity.

These are the links I have so far. If anyone gets OTAs from any other builds or devices not listed here, please post so I can add them here.

Instead of telling people that you didn't recieve an update how about you post in here when you actually GET an update? It's so hard to follow a thread when there are posts like that

Speculation ended when Google posted an in depth changelog of 4.1 features. All users are doing now is complaining about how its not on their handsets already.
Pester Google/Samsung/Carriers about this, don't whine about it on XDA. It will be released when its ready and the carriers et al are happy with it.

XDA isn't a tech support/speculation/chit-chat website, it's a developers forum for the betterment of our handsets.
