phone turns off with camera flash?

Love the ROM, no problems with SMS, fonts, phone call volume, love the lock screen.

Still seems that WiFi hotspot only works w/o security.

When using the camera, and only when using the flash, is anyone getting total, phone going black screen and turning off instantly, have to pull the battery out/replace to reboot the device?

Does anyone here use Audio Glow Live Wallpaper? When using it in this ROM, I get unusual behavior that the developer of the application is unable to explain: The live wallpaper uses the phone's audio (e.g. whichever application is playing music at the time) to drive the live wallpaper visualization OR has an option to emulate audio even though no audio is playing to drive the visualizer. With Liquidsmooth 4.2.2 I get the following unusual behavior: When the audio emulation button is checked, the visualizer will stay off for 5 seconds, then show up for 5 seconds, then stay off for 5 seconds then show up for 5 seconds... it just keeps on doing this. When the button is unchecked, it is not registering any audio on the visualizer even if audio is playing in one of my audio applications.

Did something change with how audio is routed in this ROM? Can someone else download Audio Glow Live Wallpaper and test this?

Flash works fine only similar problem I have is when I record a self video using 720p for a few mins it locks up my phone and auto reboots

I think overall this ROM is amazing. I am very pick with several things but mostly with Bluetooth and it works great. Other than the WiFi tether not working due to the kernel I believe this to be an epic and worthy ROM.

I deleted GoSms and tried sending an mms through the stock app with no luck. Tried your fix LTE/CDMA, reversed reboot , then back reboot , clear data cache. No go my brother. It's not really a big deal not to use stock. Thanks for the awesome rom.

Weird, I did a clean install too and my only problem is flash in the default gallery app (1.1.40001), kills my phone dead 95% of the time!

Anyone having problems with random display corruption? I get that once and a while... A reboot clears it up, everything glitches bad except for the topmost info bar (app status, BT, WiFi, antenna, time) - that is totally clear! It will kinda Futz in and out of glitch, it's still use able kinda, then it reboots and is fine...

Love the ROM though! Even my 3 second lag problem after answering any call is gone! My last ROM was liquid smooth 4.2.1 sprint.

I'll try the foward facing camera and see what it does...

When I click to enable, I get, "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped."

Nevermind... found a workaround.
Not sure if it's rom related anyways.

That happened to me when installing the setup.

My workaround was going to Language and Input and setting Swiftkey as default there, then opened up Swiftkey to finish installation... In case others ran into this.

Just tried recording 720p with forward facing can in the default camera (gallery 1.1.40001), no problem recording over 4 minutes of video...at all. But as soon as I try using the flash on the camera in the same app, kills 'er good, have to pull batt to reset.

The flash works fine in instagram and other camera apps... No biggie for me.

The display corruption issue might be related to the lock screen, anyone else seen that?

Hey guys, Does anyone have an issue with their voicemail. I do not get notifications anywhere but instead I get these random texts that look like this.

Anyone know what the cause of this is?

Thanks so much, Sorry I am a bit newer when it comes to ROMs. Ideally I would want to not get the texts saying someone left me a voicemail and would have some sort of voicemail notification somewhere.

The reason is because you have no VM app on your phone. You can search XDA for an APK, or just download one from the Playstore

Um could you offer a suggestion perhaps... I would think the original phone app on the rom would technically handle VM as well, maybe not?

This Rom does not have the original Sprint VM APK, so you need to either search for the APK, then flash it, or get one from the Playstore. I use YouMail from the Playstore. Cool app, and very customizable. After you do one of these options, you will stop getting those messages

A few requests

I haven't had any voicemails yet, but I did hold the 1 key and it dialed my vm. I miss the ability to set speed dials and set the camera storage to an external sd card and the cute little ripple and sound effect on the lock screen. I'm sure I can find replacements though if I look hard enough. Thanks for the nice rom. I am on US Cellular btw....

one thing I did notice about this rom is that it doesn't have a calendar app
I download the Google Calendar and it was good to go, was this skipped on purpose?

Yeah I had to download it from the Play store too. I was confused at first too. But it runs perfectly fine.

Volume Issues

I haven't pulled the trigger on this ROM yet despite the glowing reviews I had a quick question for anyone that is running it though.

I am wondering if anyone is having the same volume bug that is talked about here

Where, while playing music, a notification causes the volume to go crazy loud.

The reason I ask is that post notes the bug being fixed in this commit to Cyanogen
