I saw this today too, and was hoping that a similar update for i705 would be posted. You just confirmed it!

brilliant! Will start on getting a rooted stock ROM out tonight!
I'm on lte and found it. Downloading it now. Best bet would be wait for a rooted version so we don't have people getting re-locked.
shouldnt be too hard.. we just need to be purely stock with root and unlocked bootloader.. also need twrp.. if anyone can get me the update.zip it would be fantastic.. and also do we have a pure stock ics tar file.. not the leaked one
if someone on pure stock can wait to take the ota it would help immensely and we wont have all the problems they had the last time.. unless i can get it to work

1Download the following file to your external sdcard. It cannot be internal. It's an untouched update.zip that verizon released.

Then reboot into stock android recovery and select apply update from external storage. Select update.zip and let it finish. Note that you have to be on stock VRALJ1 base.1
