- Do a nandroid backup (Your call)
- Copy rom zip file to external sd card
- Reboot into Philz recovery and do the following:

FULL WIPE
Choose
- Wipe Data/Factory Rest
*Clean to Install a new ROM
- Yes, I will install a new ROM
Press Back Key
-Advanced
*Wipe Dalvik Cache
-Yes - Wipe Dalvik Cache

INSTALL ROM
- Install Zip
* Choose zip from /sdcard or /storage/sdcard1 (external sdcard)
WHEREVER YOU COPIED DS-NE5 zip to

Let install complete
- Press Back Key twice
* Reboot System Device

Wait a couple of minutes to let network connections complete, then setup accounts.

ANIMATION TRANSITION:
Too add little more speed and smoothness on the transition you can change these settings.
- Go to System Settings then tap About Device.
- Touch Build Number until it says Developers Options Enabled
- Hit Back Button
-Select Developers Options, Scroll Down to
- Window animation scale 1x (default) change to Window animation scale .5x
- Transition animation scale 1x (default) change to Transition animation scale .5x
- Animator duration scale 1x (default) change to Animator duration scale .5x

***** Like the Base NE5 Zen Arcade has created, these zip files contain the modem.*********

-If you do not want to update your modem to NE5, extract the zip file to a folder you can find easily.
-Delete the modem.bin file from the folder.
-Then go to YOURFOLDERNAME\META-INF\com\google\android.
-Use a text editor and open the updater-script file.

-Find these commands and delete them

-Save the file.
Rebuild the zip file and when you flash it, you will maintain your original modem (radio file).

* Another option is just replace your modem.bin file in the zip file. Then there's no need to edit the updater-script

Ever time I start an upload my cable modem locks up... Even on speedtest. I'm getting 25-30 down and Upload just kills the freaking modem.

Too tired to troubleshoot if it's my machine that throwing crap at modem or modem is losing it's mind.

ButtNaked is a nice start. Trying to install apps from Google Play but it's not letting me sign in. Think it might be missing Google Play Services? I don't see it anywhere that I can turn back on.

Don't think I got that gonzo with stripping stuff out. Downloading what you have now.

DL's are going great. Uploads still suck and lock up my modem. Going to download that and test then call internet provider.

It's not just from my machine, it's others in house when trying a simple speedtest cable modem locks up on upload test.

Going to plug a laptop directly in the cable modem and test so they can't wank it's my neatgear router. And me proving to myself it's not my router.

Sorry, I'll try and get upload in as fast I as can.

Good news, Bad news, Good news, Bad news

Good news is uploading is going.

Bad news for me it is router or something else because upload is going fine with laptop going directly into cable modem.

Good news for me is I'm off today so I can mess with the router, after uploads are done.

Bad news is I've pulled the Buttnaked upload because @ojai00 is correct. I got a little strip happy and logging into google servers is broke.

So testing that. And I'll repload.

Upload of full zip going ....

8:45 in California... 45 minutes left on the ftp... Upload slow as hell but as least it's not crashing the cable modem
