PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make a truly bug free CM7.2

Tried out several cm based roms;
  • some of them GPS don't work
  • some of them lose mobile data when switching from wifi to 3g
  • some of them networkbased location don't work

I'm not a developer but if I can in some way help, (testing for instance), I'm more then willing to help.

hey dude.. please don't force a dev to do what you want even though almost everyone felt that bug. -_-

Sorry, didn't want to sound mean or ungrateful.
The cm based roms I've tried where actually for the most part more stable and better then stock rom (at least IMHO)

But frankly; I think we should fix and squash the bugs first before making more roms.
And if you do decide to post a rom with bugs, mention all the bugs and don't suppose that the user knows about them. The bugs mentioned above weren't mentioned in the OP of the roms tried and I was told later "that's a cm bug" and "most users know about it". I found this a bit frustrating, hence my desperate plea for a bug free cm7.

Hello mate, I'm using your kernel last night and I noticed that I can't turn on bluetooth, just says turning on, vibrates three times, then the phone reboots. Though it reboots just fine, but it vibrates again and reboots in a loop.

I am using Elasys ROM v4.0.4 and never had the bluetooth issue with the stock kernel.

I'm the new project mantainer, still from MMB team.
Can you please, post a logcat? Or, better, a dmesg?

Hi, guys.

Just want to let you know I'm making a massive kernel renovation.
Hope to make a new release soon, including lot of new cleanups, optimizations and miscellaneous bugfixes.

Greetings.

We recently changed our Issue Tracker URL.
If you want to report a bug, please, follow the new instructions:
· Issue Tracker URL: Issues | Github
· Important notes: go to the linked URL, create a new issue, choosing correct labels corrisponding to: Device/OS which you're using, ROM/project you're on, kind of issue. Also, please, be sure you're running the ROM/project in the exact way we've provided it to you (do not create issues if you're using different kernel, mod, plugins and dependencies we didn't tell to use).

this kernel is not compatible with this Custom ROM: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2665277
Is it an issue or their issue?
Dear @gian20, this kernel is built from source and it's not installable as an anykernel (the one
which install only the zImage, letting you keeping the original ROM ramdisk).
This means it replace every init file, making it not installable in any ROM that has its own modified
ramdisk: think it's that ROM case.
Also, this kernel is the result of an opensource process started in order to make an available
set of sources for our little Cori, so it's not that different from stock one, except for some little
optimizations picked from other developers.

SGY S5300? Are you talking about Samsung Galaxy Y or Pocket?
If it's the first one, then I cannot help you, as this is only for Samsung Galaxy Pocket GT-S5300.
If it's the latter, then, if you can give me a log I could be check it! ;)

Hey guys, after some time spent working on it, I decided to share my work on the Samsung Galaxy Pocket (codenamed CORI) GT-S5300.
What is it including? Simply ClockWorkMod support (actually GB based) and custom kernel changes.
Hope you'll be glad to welcome this work!

Dude, if you are using pur cwm and sources, we should chamge the project to BroadcomCM... Anyway good work, hopefully we will build cm7 without lots of issues :) just remeber that there is BroadcomCM for those chips
