[HELP] Issues with Root - SM-G900I

Hey everyone, my new Galaxy S5 G900I won't root using Odin. I've tried repeatedly. Using the CF Auto Root Method and the install Custom Recovery first then flash superuser method and both methods have the same outcome.
This is the how it comes up on Odin:

I can't seem to find the problem
any help would be greatly appreciated.

hmmmm, you have installed all the drivers right?

does adb devices return anything?

I have all the drivers installed, the Samsung USB Driver and I haven't tried adb because I used Odin to root my S4 before on the same computer but the S5 won't work.

I FOUND A FIX AND IT WAS SO SIMPLE :laugh::laugh:

For anyone else having this annoying problem theres a simple fix.

1. Goto settings
2. Settings > Security
3. Ensure that "REACTIVATION LOCK" is UNCHECKED
4. Try to root again using Odin and hopefully it works for you :fingers-crossed:

Use geohots. Worked on my g900i optus s5. Didnt trip knox for me . All u do is install the apk open it and thats it.

wanted to know the complete process

Hi guys im new here and will like to have the complete process steps by steps .HOW TO ROOT SM-G900I?

it'll be easy for all of us like me new in this side sorry if im asking for too much.

i had used CF root methods before and it is easy but i'll like to have the tools and the steeps for SGS5..
