[Q] App cannot get the Super user permission

Dear all,
I am using Omnirom, I have installed Supersu. However, when I open apps that needs Su permission. It does not prompt out the allow permission window. It seems the Su does not work. Do I need to root Omnirom first? Or something I missed?

Think you have to enable it in the Developer Options. If you don't have those enabled, then you have to click on Build Version in Settings / About Phone 7 times, then hit back once and it'll be in the main part of Settings, right about About Phone.

Does it have a setting called Root Access in there? If not, then there's another issue. You do have the SuperSU app in the app drawer, right?

of course your phone is non rooted first root it
