This might sound like a dumb question, but I was considering finding a bricked captivate on craigslist just for the screen if I can get it for less than just the screen from somewhere else. I know that part of the screen is glued on and I assume that buying a new screen comes with fresh glue on it, so would it still work if I used the screen from another phone? I already have a new different phone, I just want to get my pictures off my old one and I unfortunately did not have USB debugging enabled when it broke because I can't connect it to my computer. Either that or something else is messed up too.
