Shhhhh..... everyone keeps this on the DL. My download time is not getting any better. LOL. ;-)
Just making sure quickly: Normal flashing method as all the others? Odin to EL26 and flash rom and gaaps, etc?

O yea I know that I meant there is a stock version or stock 3e recovery that let's u flash roms from external recovery thus eliminating the need for cwm recovery and so u can flash builds on top of each other

Is there a difference in this and the alpha before it

Ok can someone set this straight for me. Codename Rom is basically an AOKP kang with TCP's own set of extra features and flavor on it? Either way, looking forward to these nightly builds. Thanks for everything TCP and Cidica for the thread!

CODENAME is a totally different ROM. It's not based off of AOKP at all. Do a search on xda for CODENAME totally different it's a Source Build Rom
Ok I get you, sorry I've never heard of it before til now. I was just kinda confused since it kept being mentioned in the AOKP thread. Will be flashing the latest nightly soon
Yeah it was talked about there cause that's where it originally was dropped to a few people. When the AOKP thread was moved to the dev section both kb and myself made threads we just split them up is all so no more confusion.
Ok cool, are you running Codename or AOKP? What seems more stable and smoother?

* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
Installing for the first time:
- Make sure you're running a proper working CWM like the one from CM7
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CODENAME zip
- Flash Gapps
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (as sometimes your calendar sync will not work) DO NOT WIPE SYSTEM or the assert script will fail
- Reboot
- Don't restore Apps using Titanium Backup! (Some users have been able to do this. This is left here just as a warning however if it works for you cool me know)
Or
-Flash EL26 stock CWM kernel via ODIN/Mobile ODIN
-When phone begins reboot, Hold Power + Volume up until boots into recovery.
-Wipe data/factory, cache and dalvik cache
-Flash ROM
-Flash Gapps
-Reboot
(Please Note I do NOT use this method for installs. However it has worked for other users in the past so I am putting it here since it could cut down install time/upgrade time.)
