Strange baseband & airplane mode problem

Hi,

Every time my phone dies because the battery runs down, when I turn it on (after charging of course), my phone can't get a signal. Sometimes, switching baseband helps. But not all the time.

Today I "played" with it a little, switching baseband & rebooting - something very strange happened: It shows the airplane icon, but the network is working.

I suspect a bug - when the phone dies, it gets into airplane mode, but not in a formal way, and you can't activate the radio again.

Please help,

Try putting the airplane mode toggle widget in the drop down bar and switch between airplane mode from there. It worked for me.

Hi everyone,
I just noticed a problem with this smooth rom: I'm a long time Go Launcher EX user, and wanted to try ADW so I bought the original ADW launcher EX from the market, but it won't work.
I have already cleared its cache, installed the free version, removed it, but it still doesn't work.
Whenever I touch its icon the screen just freezes until I press the home button, returning to Go Launcher EX.

This zip can't work, because motorola uses different file. But i made really tinny, simple application. http://gps.nemec.co.uk/PowerGPSUpdater.apk . It's my first Android app, but it works. After connecting phone to charger/usb it start to search position using gps (you must have enabled gps) for 10 minutes. So your GPS have updated almanach, it should start quickly when you need it. And it run only when you charge phone, so it didn't drain battery.

Don't uninstall it now, everything in "gps cache world" have effects in days. Keep testing it.

Is it okey to still CM7 from argen2stone 3 right? Since A2S is 2.3.6 UK and CM7 2.3.7...

Or i need to install other sbf before? thanks!

I think the project isn't finished (the known gps, 720p camera issue and other possible tweaks). Since the goal of the project is to have a rom working a 100% and merged into the official CM what can I do to help?

if you are a developer,then you can try to get 720P to this rom (I think it's a tough possibility)...or better you can try on CM 9 ...

Endless7 and some other active developers are not active on MS2 right now...now all are waiting for someone to get involved on MS2...

Really want to get involved on MS2 ROM development but I don't know how to begin. I've made some apps for university and I'm making my TCC (Final Project) based on BI applications right now...nothing to do with ROM dev.

would be keen too, but dont really know where to get started...




Also, what version of this doesnt suffer from the wifi bugs?

    Note:

    If you have updated to stock gingerbread, you can't use this rom until you downgrade.

    Instructions for upgrading from stock ROM:
    1) Install Droid2 Bootstrap Recovery
    2) Boot into recovery
    3) Optionally: create a backup of your data
    4) Choose Install zip from sdcard -> Choose zip from sdcard and select downloaded ZIP file.
    5) Optionally: install Google Apps the same way
    6) Wipe data/factory reset
    7) Wipe cache partition
    8) Reboot and enjoy :)
    9) Optionally: use attached Baseband switcher app if you have troubles with phone signal.

    As you can see, the update from the stock ROM requires a complete wipe, so be sure to backup your important data!
