:\ That is what is always pushing me back to a .32 ROM. All the .35 ROM's I've tried suffer the same problem (its a bit annoying :|)
incall volume and background noise fixed and touch screen sensitivity fixed
but music player volume below normal

The way this procedure described is very confused.
for e.g If we replace just the CWM recovery after B163 flash, how will function without root? And this "opened" in which mode is? Is normal boot, or bootloader mode? It' s not clear.
And, if I remember well, after downgrade from 2.3 rom, when phone reboots, goes immediately on recovery mode, and needs a wipe data, to normally boot.
Can you please edit the tutorial with more clear instructions?

Before I flashed this ROM I had .35 CM7. I did the downgrade to 2.2.2 (using the method refered in this topic: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1420728 )
Then, I rooted the device, installed the CWM 5.0.2.6 recovery (I believe its not strictly necessary 5.0.2.3), wiped DATA, CACHE and DALVIK CACHE and followed this instructions:
- Mounts and Storage -> "mount /system"
- Mounts and Storage -> "format /system"
Finally install zip from sdcard -> select ROM file
And voila! Very simple!
Then, I rooted the device, installed the CWM 5.0.2.6 recovery (I believe its not strictly necessary 5.0.2.3), wiped DATA, CACHE and DALVIK CACHE and followed this instructions:
- Mounts and Storage -> "mount /system"
- Mounts and Storage -> "format /system"
Finally install zip from sdcard -> select ROM file
And voila! Very simple!

Maybe this might help clearly.Just Terramino(rom complier)claims that 2.3 is like a poison ivy covers your device very tight;so repeat the loading 2.2 action 3 times for better clean.
Downgrade from 2.3.5 back to 2.2.2
1) Download U8800 V100R001C00B138SP04 (Overseas General) Android 2.2.2 from HERE.
2) Extract the "dload" folder and copy it (along with its contents) to the ROOT of the SD Card.
3) Turn on your U8800 while holding [VOL-] and [VOL+] and the Android 2.2.2 install should start.
4) Once finished you should be back to 2.2.2.
5) If you phone does not boot correctly power on phone while holding [VOL+] to boot into recovery and Reset to factory defaults.
6) Delete the "dload" folder from the SD Card.

OK so, Install B163 or B138 3 times as you normally would.
Install Clockwork and follow instructions on first page yeah?
Yeap,the matter is just getting rid of the 2.3 official.
Be sure you downgrade,and install new cwm.No root action needed,because installing rom will automatically bring root to the device.
Yeah that was my next question, when I downgrade to 2.2 it will unlock the bootloader again wont it? As 2.3 has locked bootloader.

Even if you don't wipe data/factory reset,the rom will automatically delete all user data by itself,so backup all your applications,sms,call logs...etc. if necessary
INSTALLING:
- Wipe data/factory reset
- Wipe Cache partition
- Advanced -> Wipe Dalvik Cache
- Mounts and Storage -> "mount /system"
- Mounts and Storage -> "format /system"
Finally install zip from sdcard -> select ROM file
After installed, go to Spare Parts and run it. Then choose Window animations and Transition animations options to Fast. In this way, the desktop will have increased fluency.

Fast, stable and brillant MIUI Experience on original Huawei Gingerbread code!..
Elite X2 ROM was built on the Huawei u8800 B528 factory firmware and Honor B866 Gingerbread software components.
Elite X2, does not include .32 kernel drivers like other MIUI versions. All drivers are original .35 kernel Huawei drivers.
