Who cares what other people say they make some awesome skins that's all I gotta say if it wasn't for team d3rp team420 & dropzeroc I wouldn't have this tricked out eVo 3D.

We really appreciate that you like our themes but we just have a lot of projects going on. There are a lot of themers here so you have plenty of themes to choose from. You don't have to make that your last post but chill out with the requests. We do what we can. :)

...If it's any consolation, your English is ok and I've seen worse from people who claim to use English as a first language...lol. ;)

New d3rp rom user and tried some skins... just had a curiosity question. are the skins supposed to add color back to the rom such as the settings and other apps? I haven't tried too many yet, but transparent mist still has every aspect of the rom grey (might be on purpose). I tried blue dust for a brief moment and that was all grey too except for the highlights in the status bar and other home screen changes.

Skins don't change icon colors and such. If you're on a rom where the stuff in settings are colorized, then you will see color.

In other words, the color and look of icons depends on the rom and/or theme.

Just wondered what's difference between skin and theme? Themes are like 10 times as big as skins :D

Thanks again for clarifying. I meant by the second part was if there was any kind of future plan to build in a way to match colors to skins/themes. I haven't seen it done, so wasn't expecting it. but trying to find the right logic to doing this. Making it a design move so things don't conflict does make sense.

Only suggestion I have, and take it as you will, is little things like bullets and such can be hard to tell what is selected at first - it takes some getting used to. Perhaps you can improve the contrast to objects like this? Harsher blacks and whites rather than medium grey? Either way, I do love the work. I only just flashed last night before bed, though.

1st part, yes we intend to make more color intergration. If you look at the "issues" list on the SVN, I have plans to use the "tweaks" dynamic signal icons to match the skins, and I'm sure we'll put some battery mods in the updater.

2nd part I agree on the bullets (round icon) but the rest is fine to me, so I've added an "issue" for the bullets, but no way am I redoing 5000 pngs for more contrast lol. That's what skins are for ;) FYI, we have a couple skins that are greyscale but with more contrast, like dark3d and chrom3d, etc.

thanks again and i'll try those skins out. as for editing everything for contrast, i didnt realize the work involved. i agree, dont go overboard.

    I'm calling this Transparent Mist for lack of a better name. Hope you all like it, if not, we have plenty more skins to choose from. ;)

    In my experience porting into a skin isn't too bad but explaining it in less than five sentences is hard. I'm going to TRY later if and when I do Tutorial on it. Basically though just get a base skin, get the resource, systemui, framework, and fusion from what ever theme you like and do a bunch of thinking.... Next thing you know. POW!
    If you do try, there's a "how to assemble and rename" posted in my skin thread. :D
