I run Omni KK nightly's on XT after a year back with stock. The annoyed speakerphone bug that made me ditch it last year came back after like 2 nightly's and I was just about ready to go straight back to stock. I realised just in time that it was only since I flashed this mod that my audio had got louder and actually reintroduced the bug. From last years hassle I knew well I could go in and edit snd_soc_msm_2x file lowering speaker volume from 72 until at 69 it doesn't whistle anymore on speakerphone. But thats a poor way out for two reasons. First the XLoud and Omni combination has given me the loudest sound i've ever heard from my T. Its so loud on max volume you just know any more and it would be distorting, perfect! Second by reducing volume elsewhere to compensate for XLoud we might as well just not run it in the first place and save a bit of RAM? Omni's original 72 volume without this mod is about the same volume as 69 with the mod so there is no need for it unless we can have mod, volume of 72 AND a working speakerphone.
Of course I then went in and tried messing with mod to remove all XLoud features. Changing back what it does in build.prob has no effect. Deleting soundenhancement.apks etc all had no effect. I wonder if maybe the author would consider releasing a version without Xloud libs (it seems to be quite a lot of files for something that doesn't work well on every phone). Its no fault of this mod anyway as all custom ROMs seem to have big problems with audio levels on these phones. CM11 speakerphone whistles on a clean install, still after 1 year you have to edit snd_soc_msn_2x file every build...
