S4 I9500 Wifi Problem After Kitkat Update...

Hello Guys I have i9500 which i was using on 4.3 and rooted after 4.4 update i installed russian version.... since than im having problem with wifi wifi never turns on button remains grey and says turning on
than My regions update came which is Pakistan.
i flashed it via odin still same problem...(My Brother also owns i9500 he updated OTA via KIES and his phone is fine no problem)

But wifi turns on only when bluetooth is on if bluetooth is off wifi never turn on and sometimes it also turn on without bluetooth...

so kindly help me in this regard anything i can do to rectify it by rooting or something...

It happened to me
You need to go to Recovery
Then wipe data/factory reset & wipe cache
Then reboot
Then While you are in the booting screen remove the battery and put it again
Then flash the rom again via Odin
Everything should be ok

I already did everything but didnot tried battery trick...

Thnx brother after flashing via odin after battery trick it looks like its fine now tried airoplane mode restarting device everything wifi turns on instantly... but please dont close this thread as i want to try it for a Day because in my earlier tries it worked in start but than again same....

so i will update u tommorow lets see what happens..

Ur r really a life saver..

mods please dont close the thread wait till tommorow...

same thing happenign again after airplane mode wifi is not turning on even bluetooth trick not working now...........

Weird the same problem happened to my cousin and I solved the problem with this way :/
Try to wipe data & cache
This is the last solution that I have, sorry

I found another solution
Try this bro
Scroll down Status bar and click on the clock upper left
Then deselect the Automatic Time Zone
And change the Time zone to MOSCOW
then Reboot !

Having same problem.....Have you found a solution yet? Mine won't turn on even if bluetooth is on.

I had same problem. WiFi and Bluetooth wouldn't turn on.
I tried many things.

Try first *#0011# then choose WiFi in setting menu and turn off safe mode.

This didn't worked for me.
I went to Samsung service and they changed phone's mother board.
So your problem be ass well a hardware issue.

My WiFi problem solved after service but not it is very weak. Cant connect to WiFi from next room.
Going back to Samsung service today

My wifi not working after fone cam from service center. U had issues with power button, so i gave it to service center. After the power issue was fixed I brought fone home and wifi is not working. Service center guy is not acknowledging it. They are asking me to replace the hardware but they will charge INR 7K for it.
