Hi everyone! I would like to present you a small xposed module for our superb device – Moto G.

Moto CheckBox is a simple module that contains checkboxes for user preferences.
Designed for Moto G (stock ROM). It may also work on Moto X and Moto E

I don't think the module would work on GPE. Only for MOTO stock.

How to use:
1) Install latest Xposed framework [Root required]
For lollipop - http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
2) Install Moto CheckBox app and activate it.
3) Reboot device.
4) For applying changes you need to exit from app and reboot your device.

Features [L]
Status bar:
  • Use AOSP data icons in status bar
  • Show disabled data icon
  • Enable H/H+ distinguishable
  • Enable data arrows
  • Hide sim labels (only ds phones on 5.0.2)
  • Rename carrier label
  • Rename carrier label
  • Rename 2nd carrier label (only ds phones)
  • Rename carrier on lockscreen
  • Hide carrier label (from the bottom of notification panel)
  • Show carrier label (in the left statusbar corner)
Assist:
  • Remove GPS Alert
FMradio:
  • Use FM with airplane mode
Camera:
  • Show developer settings
  • Enable QR and barcode detection
Gallery:
  • Highlight Reel
  • Face recognition
Dialer:
  • Use lollipop icon
  • Disable dialpad vibration
  • Change dialpad vibro
  • Symbol on the contact tile
Power menu:
  • Airplane mode
  • Settings
  • Silent mode
Other:
  • Minimum screen brightness
  • Low battery warning level
  • Low battery last warning
Features [KK]

StatusBar:
  • Show disabled data icon
  • Enable H/H+ distinguishable
  • Enable data arrows
  • Disable wi-fi arrows
  • Use orange signal icon. (When there is no connection to the internet)
  • Use AOSP data icons in status bar
  • Show/hide carrier label in status bar
  • Hide carrier (From the bottom of notification panel)
  • Hide sim numbers on dualsim phones
FMradio
  • Enable Speaker support
  • Ability to use FM radio in Airplane mode (Yes, it'll show the warning. But you can use FM right after that)
Camera:
  • Show developer settings
Lockscreen:
  • M lockscreen
  • Disable camera widget
System
  • Set min brightness level to 1
  • Reduce minimum level of auto brightness
Settings:
  • Hide “Motorola Device ID”
  • Hide “Motorola privacy”
  • Hide Account section ( thanks to rye761’s code)
  • Hide Printing
  • Hide Developer settings
  • Hide Accessibility
Motorola Assist:
  • Remove GPS Alert
Dialer:
  • Use google dialer icon(when unchecked you will see the moto icon)
  • Disable dialpad vibration
  • Reduce dialpad vibration
Play music
  • Do not show default play music grey album cover (doesn't work with latest play music app. Don't know how to fix it :( )
Improve translation - usable only for Russian users

Excellent work, a feature request if it's possible, can you make the AOSP signals icons instead of Motorola icons?

But does not this feature became native for every 4.4.4 stock rom? Check settings for that.

Now I'm on US 4.4.3 and I flashed previous zips that work good (coming from different MOD), but when I change or update firmware I will try it

ok, this will be added in the next version. I think it will be about few days till I release it
@mschief148 I'll do my best. Do not give you any promises but I think it's quite easy to do
@remo0073 almost forget about you man! I will give to you stock files (as I promised. by the way sorry for delay you can see now what I've been doing) in 10-20 minutes
About brightness settings ... I will think about it. I just do not see any advantages of that. Auto brightness works perfect and in night time I set brightness slider to the lowest level (which with that module can be 1) and it's enough for me.
About dialpad vibro. I have already created a thread for this http://xdaforums.com/xposed/id-to-decrease-dialer-vibration-help-t2859925 and I hope somebody will help me

I can confirm this working on XT926 (RAZR MAXX HD) to remove the Motorola device ID and privacy under settings, since these are the only two features I've tried. Thank you for the module.

    Everything will be fixed in a few days.
    I already have working module on 1032 5.1. But I should do some tests before the final release...
    BTW if someone runs 5.1 stock rom on dual sim please connect with me via pm or mail (s0bes@mail.ru) so I can check if everything is fine on dualsim phones because there're differences between 5.0.2 and 5.1. ok, everything is checked and fixed. Release soon

    And take my sincere apologizes for the fact that I was so lazy and haven't been fixing module for months.

    No more feature requests guys.

    I'm very busy. And lazy. And I'm not a very good developer so it takes hours to implement some features for me.
    I've added few small features (because I needed them) in the new 1.3 version that will roll out tomorrow.
    Features:
    Remove f*cking Assist GPS notification which pop up every time you reboot your phone. (in case you've disabled gps)
    Ability to disable wi-fi arrows but keep data arrows
    When "Use google dialer icon" is unchecked you will see the Moto icon.

    @3andala sorry, I don't know why but I can not remove Motorola connect from settings. Somehow it's still there...

    now you can enable this feature http://xdaforums.com/moto-g/general/how-to-unlock-advanced-camera-settings-t2884035 without changing system files. Which means you're stiil able to install ota updates.
