I just got my Verizon Galaxy Nexus... I upgraded from my verizon Droid Charge (running the Humble 5.0 gingerbread 2.6.3 rom).

I now want to put the best custom rom on my new Nexus... what is the most popular/powerful/best supported ROM for the verizon lte Galaxy Nexus currently?

I'm always between CM9 and AOKP. I think CM is faster, but lacks many features I love in AOKP. For kernel, I use Franco's Milestone 2

Is there a single rom package that includes the kernal and all?

I'm not sure of the process for rooting the roming the nexus?

Stock battery? Are you mostly on wifi? I can't break 3 hours even with the OEM extend battery with auto brightness and wifi on when I am home. lte off all the time.

Yes I'm using a extended battery. Also I do spend a lot of time on wifi no matter where I go. (Only have the 4gb plan :() but I've ran this Rom and kernel combo for 2mo now and battery has been consistent if not better.

Yeah m4 it's a lil older, you could go with 31 which you wipe everything bc 4.0.4...but you'll be ready for m5. Then you'll just flash over without any wiping other than cache and dalvik.

For those of you using Nova Launcher, the latest update lets you put the app drawer in the nav bar now.

    ROM Control>Navigation Bar>select a button>custom app>choose Nova Launcher>app drawer

All I know about wiping is that ladies should always wipe front to back. I personally don't care how many times you wipe, so long as it gets the job done we're good.
