Just curious, either of you guys using justnbean inverted gapps? ... Another thought, clear your cache and data for your file browser... & give solid explorer a shot... Rocks.

Anyone have any kernel recommendations for balance of fluidity and battery? I've been told faux, lean, and Franco (does this even exist for S3?) Anyway I haven't been on aosp in a while so I'd appreciate some insight. Thank you.

This has been happening to me on many ROMs/Kernels... I'm wondering if this is just my phone or something else.
When my phone goes into a heavy processes of "loading" (such as updating a bunch of apps)... the current "max" lowers to either 1134mhz, 918 mhz, or 702 mhz. The heavier the phone is processing things, the lower it goes. It will go back to 1512 mhz shortly after but not all the time. The phone will have a noticeable slowdown too... it becomes a lot less smooth.
The easiest way to emulate this would be to just start opening a bunch of apps... and then switching over to Performance Control to check the Current "Max", basically try to put a load on the CPU/Ram.
I'm running the stock ROM with interactive/noop
