None at all just formatted system cache dalvik dirty flashed over the top still none so think it maybe hardware and the vibration has died :(

Tried testing app off playstore to double check

If system is refreshed and cache and dalvik then an app could not have that effect right and it means the hardware is screwed?

hmm I would try and reflash the latest nightly like this:

install rom
wipe cache and dalvik
reboot

if it still doesn't work try and get me a logcat

Just did wipe of system cache dalvik was on latest nightly so reflash nightly plus gapps etc then reboot same issue I'll try grab a log now

no need to wipe system the updater script handles that

or flash gapps it is persistant between flashes

Omg I'm so sorry Drgravy I feel like the biggest noob right now just looked through system logs again at some point this week I had turned on quiet hours and disabled everything including vibration in quiet hours and coz im up late that's what had kicked in hahahahaha stupid moment

not sure on that one

have you messed with the vibration settings under: settings > sound

I'll give it another shot this weekend. Clean. Right now I need the phone for work so.. Back to my backup.
Really lost as to why this is happening. I even flashed the latest gapps from PA, now that I say this, should I flash the old gapps from the downloads page?
this ones: http://mirror1.aicp-rom.com/gapps/Full/aicp_gapps-full-4.4.2-20140608-signed.zip they are way older than the PA gapps but maybe that's the issue?

I use modular pa gapps no issues with anything here so gapps shouldn't be the issue I wouldn't think

Hey,

I've juste seen ROM is now in 6.0 version
Has anyone tried to flash it over 5.0 without any wipe ? Is it safe ?

Other question : what's main reason in moving to 6.0 ? Can't really find a brief summary of new features and changelog ...

That usually means you are using the wrong baseband for the ROM.

If the ROM uses full 4.4 sources for kernel and ROM, then you need an unmodified 4.4 baseband. Using the modified baseband will break sensors, including rotation.

If the ROM uses 4.4 sources for the ROM and 4.2 sources for the kernel, then you need a modified 4.4 baseband.

And, if the ROM uses 4.2 sources for the ROM and kernel, then you need an unmodified 4.2 baseband.

Another strange thing : with AICP, my MAC Address has changed... :eek: Strange but true.

Hey

Today 7.0 nightly broke my screen rotation too ....
I was on 7.0 before ...
I already tred to reflash radio, in case of .... but nothing repaired ...
My screen does not rotate anymore :(


someone knows how I can fix that ?

    What is AICP?
    AICP is known by someone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since than evolved as a mature rom with the BEST community you can find!!!

    What's Broken:




    ROMS
    ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy JB. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
    You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.



    How to flash:

    All the changes from the test builds have been pushed to the nightly builds (should start with the next nightly)
    so you will need to be on a pure KK modem (not a modded one)
