Defender otterbox side chipping?

This is my 2nd defender with the sides where the holster clips, it is chipping.. Does anyone else have his problem? This is getting annoying to having to keep putting claims in for a new otterbox with 2 wks wait time..

Are u facing it inside or screen out.. I see if I do the inside facing it rubs on the rubber which on the iphones it tore a hole into..

I must clipped mine in and out of holster today like a hundred times and no chips. Maybe you got defective unit or clip. Either way best case ever
