[Q] S Note update for Galaxy Note 2?

So I've searched to no end and have not found an answer to my question, so I am posting here. Hopefully someone can help.

I have a Galaxy Note 2 (NOT ROOTED...yet) and have read that there is an update to the S Note app for my device on Samsung's app store, but I simply cannot find it (for example see this thread: http://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-note-2/353788-samsung-note-2-s-note-update.html. I have searched for "S Note", "note s" and "snote" but to no avail.

Is there any way to get the updated app on the Note 2?

As far as I can remember there's no update...
We are all using note 3 mods and s note from there.. You can do the same.. Ofcourse you need root for that..
